Some months ago, I applied to a fellowship and after a while, I got a rejection mail. I was not surprised as I have normalized getting mails such as that. So, I decided to reply the mail stating why exactly I wasnt accepted. And their response goes like this: ...Usually we look for applicants with titles in the Founder, Co-Founder, Executive role. Thank you for all the hard work you continue to do! Now, it makes a whole lot of sense. I think that if more applicants are told the EXACT reason(s) their application was not successful, the applicants strive to be better, then, they would have less rejection messages. That you are rejected today does not mean youll be rejected forever. Its a process. Embrace it. Learn from it. Apply some more.
