The great thing about this haircut is that it will give you the opportunity to wear your hair with any side parting , looks amazing in the middle, It creates that beautiful chic look when you throw it back in a bun by framing your face but also long enough to have a full ponytail. As you can see the consultation, Annabelle had mainly one length almost blunt haircut with no movement. First thing that I was focusing on from the start was shape, ,specially around the face. Consultation is very important so make sure youre happy with that and you completely understand what the stylist is talking about, if you dont, just ask again, show some pictures! You need to know an average outcome of what you will get, before you get it! As a client be prepared for the consultation with your stylist and bring up things that youd like your hair to do because at that moment the virtual haircut starts in both client and stylist visualisation. During our consultation Annabelle said shes in the gym quite a lot, So that made me understand straight away that I need to create a shape thats gonna be short enough to create The Look but long enough to go back in a bun/ponytail. Keep in mind that the shape around the face it can definitely be shorter and it will also look great but the need of all hair travelling back in a bun/ponytail will not be achieved (remember shes in the gym quite a lot) Elements like short fringes, long/grown out fringes or shape around the face is very important and it has a great effect for someone who wants to keep the length but also wants something different and fun.
