Hecha por el también requeté Sebastián Taberna. Los Tercios de Requetés fueron cuerpo de voluntarios que luchaba en defensa de la tradición religiosa y de la monarquía carlista . Desde el establecimiento de la II República se formaron unidades paramilitares carlistas en zonas de influencia carlista con la misión de custodiar edificios religiosos, vigilar los círculos carlistas, proteger los mítines y actos políticos tradicionalistas. Con la preparación del golpe estas unidades se fueron militarizando y jugaron un papel clave en la sublevación del Noreste de España. Alrededor de 60.000 requetés participaron en la guerra, fueron una de las unidades con más bajas ya que en numerosas ocasiones ejercían roles de tropas de choque. Dear friends! As some of you might have already heard, a massive police raid took place at RAF25 last Saturday. Several law enforcement agencies combined efforts to organise one of the largest illegal operations the local scene have seen in recent years. There were threats, insults, destroyed and damaged property, i.e. all sorts of human rights violations. After they left, the show went on and most artists from the original Deprave x Monasterio lineup got to perform, although to a somewhat smaller crowd. We would like to thank everyone who happened to be inside the club at that moment for staying brave and compassionate – you all did great, and they clearly did not expect that. Normandy, 12 June 1944. - - - - After the allied invasion in Normandy, the Götz von Berlichingen was ordered to Normandy to take part in the efforts to reduce the Allied beachhead. On June 10 the Division made contact with 182 Paratroopers of the 3rd Battalion, 507th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 82nd Airborne Division, and B Company, 501st Parachute Infantry Regiment, 101st Airborne Division at the village of Graignes. This small group of Paratroopers had been mistakenly dropped by the US 9th Army Air Force Troop Carrier Command and had decided to try and hold their positions. The ensuing battle, and the criminal execution of wounded Paratroopers and French Civilians by the Götz von Berlichingen has since been known as the Battle of Graignes. On June 11 the reconnaissance battalion engaged in combat with the paratroopers of the US 101st Airborne Division near the town of Carentan. The Americans secured the town and were advancing south by the morning of June 13. SS-Panzergrenadier Regiment 37, supported by the assault guns of the divisions Panzer battalion and Oberst Friedrich August Freiherr von der Heydtes 6th Fallschirmjäger Regiment, attacked the advancing paratroopers. “Green Devils” - - 3 Fallschirmjägers from the 5th Fallschirmjäger Division capture an American 101st Airborne soldier near the village of Graignes in Normandy. - - - The 5th Fallschirmjäger-Division (5th Parachute Division) was a fallschirmjäger (airborne) division of the German military during the Second World War, active from 1944 to 1945. The division was formed in France in early 1944, commanded by Gustav Wilke. It contained the 13th, 14th and 15th Fallschirmjäger Regiments, and the 5th Fallschirmjäger Artillery Regiment. The 13th Regiment was attached to 17th SS Panzergrenadier Division in the early stages of the Battle of Normandy, with the rest of the division committed in July. It took heavy losses, and was withdrawn to the Netherlands to rebuild. SARC custom minifigure by @brickmaniatoys. An awesome figure that I had an opportunity to take pictures of, thanks again @chesty.puller for letting me snag a few pics before shipping it out. There’s a lot of details on the figure that I could go on and on about but I’ll just keep it short and sweet. The head is really cool and unique and goes great with the helmet which is 3D printed. Figure also features great 4 color camouflage along with a nice plate carrier with what appears to be multicam. Also included with the figure is a printed SCAR rifle which I’ve attached to this post as well. -122 mm howitzer D30 (GRAU index 2A18)- The D30 is a rugged and powerful Soviet towed howitzer which first entered service in 1963. It was designed as a modernization of Soviet field guns of the WWII era in the ubiquitous 122 mm caliber. Attached to regimental artillery groups, D30s were designed to provide the massive bombardments that would accompany a shooting war in Europe. Entering service in 1963, the weapon is still a mainstay of the armies of many developing countries. Many features distinguish it from western artillery, like its low profile and above barrel recoil system. Most distinctive is its three-legged mobile mount, which is folded up for towing. The tow linkage is fitted directly to the muzzle brake. When emplacing the gun, the carriage can be jacked up and the tires raised to deploy the stabilizers. This unique mount allows for rapid traverse and considerable stability for the system. However, like most Soviet designs, it is very spartan, with foam tires, no seats, and no brakes. Additionally, the muzzle brake can produce unacceptably dangerous overpressures.
