@jordynlanae23 and I wanted rocking chairs for our front porch and we wanted them to be greyish blue. We couldnt find gunmetal blue rocking chairs, but we found FB market place rocking chairs for $20, we found the shade of paint we wanted @loweshomeimprovement and I have a paint sprayer and an orbital sander. So we sanded out the imperfections, cleaned it, primed it, and put two coats of paint on it. I think it could use a little 600 grit sand paper to smooth it out, but Im pretty happy with the first one, and Ill be doing the other 3 chairs this week. - @brandon.hayden55 on Instagram

A few finished TJ headjoints made from Cocobolo and Mopane wood heads back from the fabulous English headjoint maker Andrew Oxley who has been cutting the embouchure holes on these and also our wooden piccolo heads. If you’ve got a TJ ‘C’ flute with a six digit serial number then get in touch as we’ve got two headjoints that we are looking to send out for testing. - Started the final finish on the spinning wheel drive wheel. Magic Maple chemical stain. Ill do several applications of this, eventually adding a gypsum grain filler in between with sandpaper and steel wool knockback. Then maybe a color stain or just potassium permanganate.
