Focus on getting a good grip with the arms behind you, elbows 90 degrees, keep your legs tight together so you can get more reps in! 💯 This exercise is perfect to build solid abs. Aim for 12 reps per set. ✅ ⬇️ 3. L-Holds: Very few people are able to hold their legs 90 degrees while hanging onto a bar. This exercise builds the strength to do that eventually! 🔥 Try keeping your legs as straight as you can while squeezing your abs. ✅ Try to start with 10 second holds, then aim to add 5 seconds every time! Today was a fun day for me. I had a bit of a play with some of the strongman gear at @wolfpack_powerlifting It was nice to do something a bit different and have a bit of fun. I’ve only done log press and atlas stones (from @spartan_atlas_stones ) once before, in 2017, and then I got a 45KG log press and a 70KG Stone. It’s been a wild year away from all of you in 🇨🇦🇺🇸. I rejoined Insta to share what I’be been doing. Since last year I’ve been making large scale living plant installations with creative collaborator @_kieran_behan. The work will finally be going up on @cultivationberlin if you’re into plants/neon signs/smoke ;). Nice one to everyone who made it down to Cold Water Cuts 001 release bar takeover at @deadwaxdigbeth . The bar takeover inevitably got carried away and turned into a rave... The last record was raffled away and won (twice) by @laura.j.davis raising just under 50 quid that was handed to two homeless men sheltering under a bridge in Birmingham city centre on boxing day. Here are the Behind the Scenes of the endless falling poor Teddy Bear. I attached a little @insta360 cam with dual lens to a slider parallel to the stair slope. The megafisheye of the dual lens let me frame as I wish. The parallel slider let me loop a any step. So I did only 3 bounces and 4 steps. The Canon Award for Potential And the Livin’ is Easy by @capellajoliebuncher And the Livin’ is Easy is a rebellion against the demonising, two-dimensional stereotypes of working-class people that permeate British media, entertainment and wider society. In contrast to Jeremy Kyle’s poverty porn, Gymbox’s ‘chav bashing’ classes and Rees-Mogg’s assertion that Grenfell victims ‘lacked common sense’, Capella presents unique characters with complex existences. The project zooms into different members of her family and seeks to visualise the more abstract and psychological impact of being poor in Britain. This series captures her teenage brother’s struggle with depression and the space he shares with their 42-year-old brother, her father’s isolation, her desperately coping mother and the strained relationships that hold them all together. About the Photographer Capella Buncher (b. 1995) is a photographer from London, exploring the inequalities of the British class system and illuminating underrepresented existences. She only started creating images in the winter of 2019, yet her photos have been exhibited as a part of Please Mind the Flash 2019 and featured both in print and online by the BBC, Lecture in Progress and Magnum Photos. Since winning the 2020 Ian Parry Scholarship, Capella intends to extend And the Livin’ is Easy beyond her family, to the rest of Britain, with the desire to encapsulate the diversity and complexity of the working class. When the pandemic first began, @matt_kap and I thought it would be cute to celebrate all of the holidays and special occasions that we’d miss out on from the same corner of the living room.
