She should also move her head from side to side when lying on her stomach (during tummy time). ⁣ ⁣ 🌟 She can focus on objects 8-12 inches away. She especially loves looking at her parents faces! It’s okay if her eyes occasionally cross! She also prefers black and white as well as other contrasting colors 🌈 ⁣ ⁣ 🌟 She can also recognize sounds and can even turn toward familiar voices and sounds 🗣⁣ ⁣ 🌟 She prefers sweet 🍭 smells over bitter or acidic 🍋 smells. T-minus 11 days until @mulan is released on @disneyplus!! I’ll be sharing tons of behind the scenes stories as we get closer to Sept 4th so stay tuned! One of the most unique parts of getting ready for Mulan were the wig fittings- and when you’re getting fitted for a wig, that hair goin all over the place. These wigs were incredible quality- all real hair and fit perfectly to our heads. It took over three weeks to mold our domes and multiple sessions to make sure they were the right fit, make any adjustments, and style them how they were going to look when we were on camera. What you’re seeing here is about 25% way through the process. Our wonderful hair and makeup department is pinning the wig to my real hair, and flopping a lot of hair out of the way to make it easier for them to do. - @jfwong on Instagram

A few days after my mother died a man showed up at my door with this painting. He said he had known my mum in London in the 70s and he was secretly in love with her so would always help her move house. He said she gave him this artwork once to say thank you and hed flown it from England to Australia to bring it to me when he heard that she had died. With tears in his eyes he told me how beautiful my mother was and offered me a blessing. He also had a tape recorder and wanted to play me her favourite song at the time but I told him I was sitting Shiva and couldnt listen to music. I still wonder what it was.. Now this beautiful woman watches over me while I work. She seems to have magic. She keeps changing as I see my feelings reflected back in her expression. Thank you strange man...
