Honored that my window installation will be apart of the Mint Museums permanent Collection. Foragers was generously supported by the National Wells Fargo Foundation Women’s Artist Fund. The fund seeks to help change the inequitable representation of women in art museums permanent collections. A recent study of 25 major museums in the US found out that of 10,000 artists in their collection 87% are male and only 13% are female. This shot is from the documentary covering the production and installation of Foagers as well as the collaboration of the Mint Museum with the Charlotte Symphony who will be preforming soon in the atrium! Four years ago I released my first EP. I signed my single “Low” to @nextwaverecords, I partnered with @spotify to release my project as an indie artist and I left my job as the Managing Editor at @darling. La marca tiene un híbrido de productos que muchas veces podrían no convivir en conjunto; pero la idea es esa, crear piezas para diferentes ocasiones, atreverse a mezclar materiales y formas más tradicionales con un twist un poco más sofisticado. Refleja un poco esa contradicción que enfrentamos a diario en casa de querer estar cómodos pero a su vez querer arreglarnos un poco más. @cartucho.co es un proyecto mutante un proyecto en constante exploración que hoy es un reflejo de lo que vivimos.
