Sending birthday prayers to Uncle Joe as he rests in Heaven with our Lord🙏🏼 Today he would’ve turned 97 years old, but God decided his time on this Earth was fulfilled and called him to join his Kingdom on March 6, 2020❤️ We met him and his beloved wife, Aunt Catherine, at the church when we first moved out here in 1997 and they immediately accepted us as family. I remember after every service he’d have us help hand out church flyers and would also have a bag of donuts and candy ready for my sister and I😂 Having served in WWII we would appreciate all the incredible war stories that you just don’t hear about nowadays from someone who’s experienced it. But most importantly, we appreciated his love, his gentleness, his humility, and the sacrifices his family went through as they came to this country from Russia in search of a better life. In that bigger picture he’s on top of an ME109 German fighter plane in 1945 during WWII after they captured their flight plane airfield. Yesterday my older white lady neighbor decided to bring me tomatoes from her garden (after I told her 3 times thank you but I don’t need any right now). What she was really doing was trying to educate me on black lives matter. The convo started with “I believe all black lives matter but are you aware that this (points to my sign) is a marxist movement?!” She then went on to attempt to share one Fox News headline after another while quoting bizarre statistics and trying to convince me that racism doesn’t really exist anymore. She ended the convo with “I love black people, I have black friends!” but she just wanted me to be aware of what I am ACTUALLY supporting. I’m open to conversation. I’m open to discussion. What a hunt! I couldn’t be more proud of @nicolerichards7 this Hunt was an absolute grind physically and mentally. Never complaining once, we hunted extremely hard and made it happen on this awesome buck on day 9. After 18 long years, we have untangled the rights enough to step in and literally license back our own album from the holding parties - a costly and unprecedented move for an artist. We hope this business risk inspires others to unlock their back catalogs. This is an official Piecelock release (PL7025) and it’s being made and paid for by Mike and I, so however you buy it, you are supporting us! On that note, we have partnered with the good folks at @vinylmeplease to create a limited run of green smoke vinyl with an extra PUTS stencil inside. The retail edition will feature black vinyl, and all versions are double lp gatefold with new liner notes, printed sleeves and vinyl cut direct from original masters by our longtime friend @plyman at Infrasonic Sound in Nashville. This reissue project has been a labor of love and a bright spot in these otherwise dark times, and we are thrilled to have this album back on vinyl and hitting shelves all over the world November 20th. Great to contribute to this article today. I really feel James needs to download my free clarity with carbs ebook. 😬. As hes probably too exhausted to read it, let me give you the highlights... Carbs are a fuel, preferred by our brain and used by our muscles exclusively so in high intensity exercise. Slower forms of exercise such as endurance running will also use fat as a fuel (yes James thats what youre running on). If we dont eat carbs, our body will make use of the fuel its given. Handy really, otherwise wed DIE and it quite likes to keep us ALIVE. The body can make carb from protein...it would rather convert our own muscle mass to provide fuel than protect our muscle... Because who needs muscle if were going to DIE. Thats how important it ranks carb. Shit loads of refined carb is not good for anyone, but carb from all sorts of different foods will fuel us, feed our guts, give us fibre, vitamins, minerals and phytochemicals. Those with diabetes can control their blood glucose levels very well with education on how to eat carbs and the sorts of portion sizes that match their fuel needs for exercise or daily activities. You dont cure poor eyesight by never picking up a book, just like a cure for diabetes is not just avoiding carb. The body doesnt cope v well without it but we need to be smart about how we use it. My father passed away on Tuesday, June 2. My babisko ,my best friend, muse of my “experimental art” projects is now my guardian angel. Getting personal but ... I just wanted to thank my lovely friends who supported me so much throughout the years. He thought me not to take life for granted and to be happy with what you have between moments. He fought a lot to be with us, had strength i can never understand. He needs to be on a medical journal for real. I always teased him calling him Terminator. I hope he’ll watch me make it happen and be proud of me. He, a film nerd, always wanted me to make a sci-fi film, I don’t know about that one :) I couldn’t be by his side for the past month as there’re still no flights back to Istanbul. (It’s hard being separated from family during grief, if anyone you know is going thru something similar hit me up) Everyday I’m grateful for his liver transplant donor, I think about him and his family often but especially today. If they only knew that it gave me 6 extra beautiful years with my dad. Most people, including locals, don’t really know about the Fort Point National Historic Site since it sits underneath the Golden Gate Bridge and is easily missed while driving over it. Fort Point is an old Army building with lots of memorabilia and exhibits. It was built in 1861 to protect the city. Now it is a museum and it is free to visit. The building is an impressive four stories tall and has some of the best views from underneath the Golden Gate Bridge anywhere. I love to go here, take some photos, have a picnic, and just enjoy watching the boats on the bay. This photo was taken in 1979 after my grandpa killed this beautiful bull elk near Fillmore, Utah! He shot this elk in one of the most sought after elk hunting regions in the country. Several record bulls have been taken in the same area. Some people will apply for 20-30 consecutive years before they pull an elk tag in this region. The stats given for an area near by from the Utah DWR show that in 2020 only 16 tags were given out, and 8 of those were given to applicants that had applied for the same hunt for 24 years in a row. - @godo.something on Instagram

In series of arrests of Sikh youths, allegedly for their involvement in the ‘Khalistan movement’ Special Cell of Delhi Police has booked 21-year-old Luvpreet Singh under UAPA for being a sympathizer of Khalistan along with two others. Charges against Luvpreet Singh comes in the backdrop of many Sikh youths being rounded up and charged under UAPA for being alleged sympathizers of the Khalistan movement. 21-Year-old Luvleet Singh was also actively involved in anti-CAA protests at Shaheen Bagh and ran langar there. Sometimes people need to take matters into their own hands. I’m so grateful for these activists. In 2014, Point Reyes National Park allowed HUNDREDS of Tule Elk to die of dehydration. How cruel, how is that conservation? They are trapped, fenced in so they don’t graze on land that is being leased to ranchers to graze cattle. Now @pointreyesnps are picking for profit ag businesses over the well being of the elk by actually putting a plan in place to kill them as their population is outgrowing the area they are trapped in. I had a blast on my birthday weekend! Felt lots of joy and very aligned with my purpose. This year was the first in 5 years that I’ve been poly single, meaning I didn’t spend my bday with a partner. And that was really nice because I got to invent a new set of self love practices and reflect on the friendships that are important to me. Some magical moments were: • I gave a speech about the urgency of being politically engaged and voting with a feminist parade organized by @michelepred . Lots of young girls in attendance and I felt good inspiring them. • I was over the moon to collaborate with @dianexguerrero , a Latinx actor and activist, in an upcoming sexy election video that I can’t wait to show you, produced by the homies @offsidesproductions • Gifted myself an amazing solo orgasm that I had after eating my favorite brunch food! (Vegan Dumplings) • During my trip to LA, I rented myself a mini red convertible to cruise to my many meetings in style. I’ve never driven a convertible before and it was incredibly fun! • I felt connected to my father who died in 2016. My father loved cactuses, and every year around important dates, flowers emerge from the cactuses. I feel his spirit with me always and I am reminded of his love through the flowers. Overall, I felt connected to my life’s purpose, which is to experience my full human capacity for joy and pleasure, and to create the images, stories, and ideas that will lead us towards a more just and free world. - @favianna1 on Instagram
