Buenas tardes; Me dirijo a ustedes esperando puedan compartir una lamentable situación que está ocurriendo dentro de la empresa Camanchaca S.A. Como muchos saben esta empresa cuenta con dos plantas dentro la comuna de Tomé, bueno les comento que el atropello, vulneración, falta de criterio e irregularidades hacia los trabajadores no tiene límites, hace algún tiempo ya se presentó la situación de “adoctrinamiento político” por medio de cursos impartidos obligatoriamente hacia los trabajadores (mostrando una clara inclinación hacia el rechazo a una Nueva Constitución). Además, se realizan reuniones previas a las fiscalizaciones en las cuales se presiona al personal para MENTIR y decir que todo dentro de la empresa funciona de forma regular, ignorando el hacinamiento laboral, desigualdad salarial, conductas machistas y/o misóginas, abuso de poder por medio de jefes, agregando que al inicio de la pandemia trabajadores quisieron parar las faenas y fueron amenazados con perder su trabajo (existen registros). Muchos dirán pero cuentan con sindicatos? Sí, pero estos hacen caso omiso a todas estas situaciones, respaldando completamente a la empresa en cuestión, con tal de mantener sus privilegios. Hoy en día, la situación es la siguiente; A todos los trabajadores le obligan a firmar un documento (adjunto) en el cual se les responsabiliza por un posible contagio del virus (COVID-19), quienes no firman NO PUEDEN ENTRAR a su lugar de trabajo, perdiendo la remuneración del día, todo esto sin importar la alta tasa de contagios presente dentro de la empresa, sin considerar que esta acción pone en riesgo a los trabajadores y a sus familias. Por lo tanto ellos no tienen más opción que aceptar estos atropellos pues no tienen otro lugar donde trabajar puesto que Camanchaca S.A. representa la mayor fuente laboral de los tomecinos y tomecinas, por lo que perder el trabajo no es opción dada la grave crisis sanitaria y económica que atraviesa nuestro país. By living according to your word.” -Psalm 118:13 being a christian is not just going to church on sundays. once you surrender yourself to Jesus, your faith should be the first thing on your mind. every single day should be about him, not just when you feel like it. you have to show what you believe in through everything that you do. as proverbs 27:1 says “As water reflects the face, so the heart reflects the person.” the way you act outside of church and events such as fuge camp really shows how pure your heart is. i sure know i mess up a LOT. but that’s okay, if we were perfect Jesus wouldn’t have had to die on the cross for us. something big we talked about this week was the fact that you are never too far gone. it doesn’t matter how deep in to sin you may feel, there is absolutely nothing that our Father cannot do. people often bring up my past and say things like “i know what you did” or “remember how you used to” yes, i remember. and i probably won’t forget it either. but that’s not the point. all of that is washed away. it’s gone. i’m restored. it doesn’t matter what i did then, because i’ve changed. i didn’t just ask for forgiveness, say i believe in God and then go and do it again. i asked for salvation. i asked God to completely wash away my sins and restore my broken soul. and then i set my heart on him and decided to fully follow him. yes i still mess up, yes i still struggle with things. but that doesn’t determine anything. i am God’s. and he is mine. so without further ado, JESUSSSSSS - @lukeaveryy on Instagram

The program engages Chinese seniors to develop and practice a model of community leadership in the Downtown Eastside and Chinatown. Members of the hub are regularly doing outreach to their neighbours and isolated peers and connecting them with the services and programs they need. Seniors develop long-term goals and solutions that address inequities and service gaps in the neighbourhood, and collaborate with service providers on program design and delivery. This years event will be virtual and there is no cost to participate. There will be a normal full agenda of speakers with live interaction from the audience for questions and comments. The theme for this years meeting is Were All in this Together: Tips and Tools to Further Fire. Our keynote speaker is Georgia Governor Brian Kemp, and we are excited to also host the Coalition of Prescribed Fire Councils guest speaker, U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Sonny Perdue. Exciting news – all 90+ playgrounds will be re-opened by early afternoon today. It follows the re-opening of our two skate parks yesterday. Our crews were out from early this morning removing the ‘closed’ signs and inspecting the playgrounds and outdoor gym equipment following the sites’ forced ‘hibernation’. When visiting playgrounds, skate parks or outdoor gyms, remember to: 🧍↔️🧍 Follow social distancing rules of 1.5 metres, while gatherings should be no more than 10 people. 🧼 🤲 Practice safe hygiene and wash hands regularly. Temporary signage reminding everyone of their responsibilities will be installed at our biggest playgrounds today and progressively at the remaining sites over the coming days. Street trees in the Armidale region are about to get some added cloud assistance – of the digital variety. Management of the region’s urban street trees is being improved by a new cloud-based software system being implemented by Council. An audit of the region’s thousands of street trees is underway as part of the move to using the Reflect Asset Edge system, which will provide instant access to information about the location, variety, age and management history of every tree. Parents, we have the good news you’ve been waiting for! The State released guidance yesterday allowing outdoor playgrounds to reopen with modifications. You will see our staff taking down tape, disinfecting the playgrounds, and putting up signage with State guidance today. We are excited to have you back! 🤸👏🤩🥳🤸‍♂️      We know many of you want to return to Adventure Playground, and we look to have that open by this weekend. More details to come.       Per the State, playground visitors must comply with specific guidelines including wearing masks (for anyone over age 2) and maintaining a distance of at least 6 feet apart. In accordance with #COVID19 guidelines from the state on outdoor playgrounds and other recreational facilities, the City of Alhambra will reopen outdoor playgrounds on Saturday, Oct. 3rd. Visitors to outdoor community playgrounds must comply with the following requirements: • Face masks over the mouth and nose are required for everyone 2 years of age or older with caregiver supervision at all times to ensure face mask use. • Do not use a playground when different households are unable to maintain a physical distance of 6 feet or when the capacity limit has been reached. • Caregivers must monitor to keep adults and children from different households at least 6 feet apart. Consider coming on different times or days to avoid wait times and potential crowded times. • No eating or drinking in playgrounds to ensure face masks are worn at all times. • Wash or sanitize hands before and after using playgrounds. • Elderly and persons with underlying medical conditions should avoid playgrounds when others are present. • Limit visit to 30 minutes per day when others are present. I took our youngest on an adventure date today. He wanted to try a new park. Lucky for him, I keep a huge list of places we need to visit. 😂 And off to Sugarhouse Park we went. This was our first time and we were amazed at how HUGE this park is. There is so much space—lots of open grass, huge trees, a big pond, a creek, and this really fun playground. We explored all over, but his favorite part was feeding the ducks—Of course! 😉 I liked the shady, little creek. Make-A-Wish Idaho made that happen for the boy, who was diagnosed with brain cancer when he was two. Del Mar Foundation approves $180,820 donation to support our community. The current Covid-19 pandemic has had devastating impacts on our country, state, county and city. Since March, we have increased our support of various Del Mar-based organizations to help mitigate the effect of this crisis. The Foundation’s Board of Directors has now approved a $180,820 donation to be made to the City, which will restore funding for budget items important to our community, connected to the Foundation’s mission, that the City had to cut from its budget because of the crisis. We hope that this funding will benefit our community as we work together to overcome the challenges Covid-19 presents to our individual and collective health and safety, and our community’s well-being. Tourism represents the Greater Palm Springs area’s number one industry. In 2019 alone, visitor spending was over $5.9 billion and supported over 53,000 jobs. When the coronavirus hit this spring, it represented a devastating impact on the local economy, forcing area hotels and outdoor attractions like the Hyatt Regency Indian Wells and the Living Desert to cease operations for nearly three months. Now, both have reopened and are excited to welcome back travelers who have been cooped up inside for months and are eager to once again return to the desert oasis. “I can’t imagine anything more important right now than getting people back to the resort,” said Jason Baer, the Director of Sales and Marketing at the Regency. “Coming out and having an opportunity to be away from people and breathe in fresh air just changes your perspective and gets guests to feeling more normal.” The nine cities represented in the Greater Palm Springs area are hopeful that the future is bright.
