Story time! -You’ve probably seen this 944 on the gram lately, well, I had the pleasure of talking to @knattguten and I asked him some questions about his beautiful wide body bright red 944, this is his story! -First of all, as it often happens, Kenneth’s love for Porsches started when he was a kid and his neighbour had a 993 GT2, which he was racing at the time and he just couldn’t get his eyes of it! -Growing up Kenneth and his neighbour grew closer and at 15 Kenneth helped him build ice racing cars, in return, he grew Kenneth’s love for Porsches even more, especially racing ones! -At 17 Kenneth knew he wanted some kind of Porsche, he came across this red N/A 944 and the price was right as at that time they haven’t yet started being appreciated as they are now. -Actually the plan was to restore it a little and keep it mostly stock, but you know it works out sometimes, it’s like getting a tattoo, if you get your first one, you gonna get another one! -It took upwards of 2 years to build it as it is today. -This is what has been done to the car and how: Kenneth bought some new rubber for his BBS RSs but they were too big for the stock car. An obvious solution? To build a steel wide body to fit his giant BBS setup! Who would’ve done it any other way, am I right?! -Other mods include 968 mirrors and doorhandles, 968 RS Turbo spoiler, 944 turbo diffuser, a roll cage of course and this bright red paint to make it all stand out even more! -Some stuff thats gonna be done in the near future is a front bumper splitter, some fog lamps and making it a turbo of course!He’s had it for 8 years now and has no plans of getting rid of it! - @knattguten , thank you so much for sharing your passion with us and for taking the time answering many of my silly questions! Up, up & away! The Saturn 1B streaks across the sky at 35,000 feet after liftoff of Apollo 7, Oct 1968. The 10-day, 20 hour mission was flown by Walter Cunningham, Don Eisele & Wally Schirra. The mission was the only crewed flight from Launch Complex 34 & would be the last spaceflight to lift off from that spot also. Ginivex-Class Starfighter My version of this ship, inspired by Caleb Smith, is now full complete and I also made a custom display stand, which allows to show it in its full glory. The model looks simimilar to the original one, but I completly rebuilt the inner structure, to optimalize parts usage and connections. I changed a lot of detais too, such as the blaster turrets, the landing pads and the cockpit including an accurate controls. I added some transparent pieces as propulsions. I moved bots side parts 1 stud forward for more accurate porpotions. I made a custom display stand too, which is attached to just one side, so it doesnt covers the wing and its easy to remove. One of the tools aboard our Perseverance Mars rover is a laser retroreflector. It works the same way a bike reflector does by bouncing light back in the direction of where it came from. Perseverance’s Laser Retroreflector Array, or LaRA, is a palm-size dome speckled with half-inch holes containing glass cells. In each cell are three mirrored faces positioned at 90-degree angles from one another to direct light out in the same direction it originated. This technology, which was first used during the Apollo Moon missions, could lead to safer landings on the Red Planet with the use of lasers on future Mars orbiters.
