This recipe is based on the classic British dessert and really refreshing for a warm morning. Recips: Serves 1 1/3 Cup Oats 2/3 Cup Plant Milk 1 Tbsp Chia Seeds Topping: 1/4 Meringue Nest Flaked Almonds Fresh Raspberries/ Strawberries Smoothie Bowl: 1 Frozen Banana 2- 3 Tbsp Plant Milk 1 Cup Frozen Strawberries For the oats mix the milk, oats and chia seeds in a bowl and leave in the fridge overnight. And hey, maybe even this here app can help us stay connected?⁣ ⁣ Any ideas for how to support those of us who cannot so easily stay home, whose livelihoods are tied to human interaction or who perform essential services please share below. ⁣ ⁣ My offering today is this recipe. ⁣ ⁣ Mango Cardamom Steel Cut Oats⁣ Serves 2⁣ ⁣ 8 cardamom pods⁣ 2 1/2 cups water⁣ ½ tsp salt⁣ ½ cup steel cut oats⁣ 1 Tbsp (or more!) pourable honey⁣ 1 mango, peeled and chopped⁣ Yogurt, to taste⁣ ⁣ Crush the cardamom pods with the back of a knife or in a mortar and pestle.⁣ ⁣ Add the cardamom to a small pot with the salt and water and bring it to a boil over medium high heat. Once boiling turn it down to a simmer for 5 minutes to let the cardamom infuse. ⁣ ⁣ Place a sieve over a metal bowl and pour the water into the bowl using the sieve to catch the cardamom pods and seeds. ⁣ ⁣ Pour the water back into the pot and bring it back to a simmer. ⁣ ⁣ Slowly pour in the steel cut oats and cook on low for 25 minutes, stirring occasionally.⁣ ⁣ While the oats cook cut up the mango.⁣ ⁣ After 25 minutes, taste the oats and cook for 5 to 10 minutes longer depending on how al dente or creamy you like your oats. Stir and add more liquid if it is getting too thick for your taste.⁣ ⁣ Once the oats are cooked add half the chopped mango, honey and stir. So even challenges like... journalling, daily positive messages/affirmations, self care, meditation, taking 20 minutes to read a book, no social media after 9pm etc may be a weekly challenge? Bycie 12h poza domem jest bardzo męczące, dodatkowo noszenie maseczek i te wszystkie obostrzenia są kolejnym uciążliwym elementem w nauce. Jak u Was? A tymczasem przechodzę do przepisu na osłodę i odpoczynek ❤️ będzie to budyń owsiany z dodatkiem cynamonu i jabłka... SMACZNEGO! 🍎Składniki: ✔️50g płatków owsianych ✔️1 łyżeczka świeżo zmielonego siemienia lnianego ✔️300ml płynu (mleko / woda / napój roślinny lub 1:1) ✔️1 łyżeczka cynamonu ✔️Duże jabłko (Ok. 200g) ✔️15g odżywki sojowej waniliowej (możesz zamienić na 10g płatków owsianych i 1 łyżkę cukru lub syropu klonowego) ✔️słodzidło wg uznania 🍎Przygotowanie: Jabłko ścieramy na grubych oczkach. Płatki owsiane mielimy na mąkę. Następnie gotujemy mleko ze słodzidłem, cynamonem i siemieniem lnianym, dodajemy jabłko i mąkę owsianą. Mieszamy od czasu do czasu, aby zawartość garnka się nie przypaliła. - was craving a warm chocolate dessert! 🍫 (142kcal) half a bowl of chocolate peanut butter zoats (285kcal) for full serving.

This morning I had a warm porridgebowl which I had not for a longer time. Due to the hot weather I prefered especially cold fresh overnightoats or smoothiebowls🙂 As you maybe know my all time favourite consists of a smashed ripe banana, 70g oats, 250ml plantbased milk and 1-2 tsp cinnamon + 1-2 tbsp peanutbutter. This time I used cashew butter. Everything mixed and cooked for 3-5 minutes. Fill your porridge in a bowl and top it. This time I topped it with half of a banana, a few raspberries, chiaseeds, cashews and other nuts, chashew butter, coconutflakes and puffed quinoa. It is very yummy and fill you for a long time 😊 Happy saturday everyone 🤗 ~~~ Heute morgen habe ich seit langen mal wieder einen warmen Porridge gegessen. Ansonsten gab es bei dem warmen wetter entweder overnightoats oder smoothies zum Frühstück. Vielleicht kennt der ein oder andere schon mein alltime favourite fürs porridge. Für die base nehme ich sehr gerne 1 reife Banane, die ich zerdrücke, füge 70g Haferflocken hinzu, etwa 250ml Haferdrink, 1-2 Teelöffel Zimt und 1-2 Esslöffel Erdnussmus. Hin und wieder auch 1 Esslöffel geschrotete Leinsamen. Das ganze vermischen und ca. 3-5 Minuten in einen Topf köcheln. Anschließend in eine Schüssel/Bowl füllen und mit beliebigem Topping garnieren. Ich habe für meine Bowl Chiasamen, 1/2 Banane, ein paar Himbeeren, Chashews und andere Nüße, Kokosflocken und gepuffte Quinoa verwendet. Ich mag es total gerne, schmeckt lecker und hält sehr lange satt😊 Jetzt geht es für mich gleich an den Schreibtisch, nachdem ich die Küche aufgräumt habe. Meine Projektarbeit ruft.... Whaddup porridge people? Its ya boi here back at it again at the start of September with this simple messy banana and walnut bowl! It definitely feels like autumn is on the way here in Stockholm so this bowl is filled with those end of summer vibes. The weather has changed over just a couple of days from being warm, to being fresh, to now just being plain cold... the positive out of all that is cold air makes morning porridge taste just that much better!
