An emotional morning for us with Mia starting her first ever day at school! . Due to the social distancing of COVID, we had to leave her at the entrance of the school, where she would then walk off down the corridor and into her new classroom, all alone. For a mind of a 4 year old, you’d think a wobble would be imminent, but she cuddled us, smiled and with her head held high, marched off without even a flinch of a head turn. . What a testament to the incredible, selfless work of my wife, Kate. A stay at home mum now of 4 years (and counting), she put her career plans on hold to live and breath every moment of Mia’s life. She’s guided and educated, nurtured and cherished. I could not be prouder of what a happy, confident and polite little girl she has become.
