Alaska’s attorney general resigned hours after we published “uncomfortable” texts he sent to a younger colleague. Our investigation revealed Kevin Clarkson texted a much-younger state employee hundreds of times, often using kiss emoji and commenting on her appearance. We found Clarkson sent at least 558 text messages between March 5 and March 31 to a woman whose job required she sometimes interact with the attorney general. In at least 18 messages he invited the woman to come to his home. Screenshots of his texts are included in an earlier Instagram post. While Clarkson’s resignation came within hours of our story’s publication, it came more than two months after we began asking questions and requesting records about his text messages. This proves the officers were justified in their use of deadly force. . . Breonna Taylor was standing at the end of the hallway, NOT IN BED. While it is unfortunate that she was shot, the fault falls on her boyfriend (mr Walker) for opening fire on the police and causing the chain reaction of force. . . The fact of the matter is that the officers had a legal right to be there, a legal right to enter, announced their entry, and were reasonable in their deadly force. It is unfortunate that she died, but feelings aren’t facts. You cannot charge officers with murder when their actions simply did not meet the criteria for that crime. Gedung yg digunakan SMP ini dibangun pada bulan Agustus 1955 sebagai perluasan layanan para Suster FMM setelah sebelumnya pelayanan di Panti Asuhan, TK, SD, Asrama Puteri dan Guru. Dan ketika waktunya satu persatu gedung Sekolah Regina Pacis tiap unit direnovasi/dibangun ulang, unit SMP ini adalah yg terakhir dikerjakan dimulai tahun 2003. Gedung Silaban awalnya akan dirubuhkan dan dibangun ulang tetapi dengan pertimbangan historis dan didukung data teknis gedung yg ternyata masih sangat baik, gedung ini akhirnya tetap dipertahankan hingga kini. Gedung Silaban ini pun akhirnya bersanding indah dengan gedung yg baru dan diresmikan penggunaannya oleh Bapak Uskup Michael C. Angkur OFM dan Walikota Bogor bulan Mei 2004. Gratitude. 🙏🏽 Exactly 20 years ago, on this day, I convinced my father to drive me to a tiny record store in Toronto. Id been dreaming about this day for years and had finally saved enough cash from shovelling driveways and delivering newspapers. On my 15th birthday, I treated myself to my first pair of turntables and a mixer. My father couldnt understand why I was spending $3000 on two record players but remained supportive of my decision. In hindsight, I had no idea what this day would mean in the grand scheme of things. What began as a love affair with the art and culture of DJing has blossomed into a 20-year career in music and advertising. A few reflections: 1. Thank you, Dad. 2. ALWAYS pursue your passion(s) in life. 3. Traditional career paths arent for everyone. Carve your own lane. 4. The journey is tough. Blood, sweat and tears are easier to rationalize when you whole-heartedly believe in what youre doing and why youre doing it. 5. Gratitude for all those who have supported me and appreciation for all those who have not. 6. Enjoy the journey en route to the destination. Thank you for your kind words and wishes.
