It’s sad to see someone so iconic in our seen just fade away with everything he’s done for us over the last years. This man is a legend! I can remember visiting Redfern when I was a little kid and seeing this amazing bike parked out front of that amazing museum/ shop! That bike is probably the best example of Australia’s first crusty bobjob, it was the first one I seen that I can remember, I couldn’t wait for dad to get the photos developed and hang them up. I spent most of the day trying to make sure it felt, externally, as much like a celebration as it was, internally, for the amazing mothers I’m blessed to have in my life. They are our first line of defense, our first choir, our first believers — for the smart ones among us they were our first words, and when we weren’t as smart as we thought they were the last word we heard about it. I’ve been trying to think about what I could say to properly honor the amazing women I get to share this world with. For the most part, nothing seems good enough... truly, I don’t think there are words and so I will simply say this: I am yours. I will do my best to make every day feel like Mother’s Day. First day of class at MMI for the Harley Davidson program and I am PUMPED! 👁 When I mentioned starting a new chapter of my life I really meant it. I always wanted to ride Harleys and at the same time I wanted to learn how to work on them. Turn it into a career and a massive part of my life. Learning how to do this professionally was the way to go for me and enrolling in MMI was the best decision to do that. 🦍 I want the full experience and be able to help both myself and other people as I go. Be part of a team and also lead. I’m really fucking excited for this. 🏍 If there is anything you take from this post, I wish that is that we never have to be “stuck” in a world we feel we don’t belong in.
