Stand tall like a rocket. Apollo 14 astronauts Edgar Mitchell, Alan Shepard & Stuart Roosa stand with their ride parked behind them at Kennedy Space Center, Jan 1971. The 9-day mission was also the final 2-day/2 moonwalk flight or ‘H Mission’. A15-17 experienced moon landings consisting of 3 days & 3 EVAs. A14 also featured Shepard, the oldest human to have walked on the moon at 47 years, taking a couple of golf swings ⛳️ upon the lunar surface. While he & Mitchell explored the Fra Mauro highlands, Roosa orbited above & photographed the lunar surface aboard the Lunar Module to help pick the landing site for Apollo 16 in 1972. #apollo14 #edgarmitchell #saturnv #alanshepard #astronaut #spacecraft #stuartroosa #apolloprogram #moonlanding #vintagespace #spacetravel #astronauts #spaceexploration #nasasocial #spacestuff #projectapollo #1970s #nasa #spaceflight #spaceprogram #spacetravel #launchpad #kennedyspacecenter #1971 #manonthemoon #spacemission #spacemen #aerospace #nasa🚀 #saturnrocket - @astronotmovie on Instagram

Let’s go. Astronaut Tom Stafford surveys things during water egress training for Gemini 6, Aug 1965. Mr. Stafford flew the near 26-hour mission with Project Mercury veteran Wally Schirra. He later flew on Gemini 9A in ‘66 with Eugene Cernan. The pair would fly again on Apollo 10 (also with John Young). Stafford commanded the historic mission, which was the first to fly a Lunar Module & the 2nd to orbit the moon. A10 came within 9 miles of the lunar surface. In 1975, he commanded the Apollo Soyuz Test Project. Astronaut Stafford logged an amazing 507 hours in space during his career. As today marks the 50th Anniversary of Apollo 11, we honor our client Neil Armstrong in making history as the first human ever to walk the moon. After traveling for 76 hours, Apollo 11 entered the orbit of the moon and soon after, Neil took the first step with the whole world watching on television. Throughout Neils life he has spent a total of two and a half years on the moon studying and collecting samples. We are proud representatives of Armstrong since 2009, and can provide services for any of your licensing needs pertaining to Neil. This anniversary represents is a historic moment for our country and mankind! Changing the world in just one step.
