Chris was a Canadian National Youth Player from U17-U20, Ontario Provincial Team Member U14-U16, and Scholar Athlete at Elon University and St. Bonaventure University in NCAA Division I. Chris holds UEFA B, Ontario Provincial B coaching Licences. Andrew Seuradge has been a vital part of our Senior Technical Staff since 2012. He has a breadth and depth of experience in coaching at the highest levels here in Canada. This is how the story Goes Coming into the last two weeks off a horrible and brutal MMA training camp I decided to go to Fuertventura to finish the camp,run on the beach and relax the week before the fight, 3 days into training abroad my stomach was hurting, I thought it was from the sparring so ignored it but damm that was a mistake, my appendix was about to burst unbeknown to me..😵 Ambulance was called and I spent 5 days in a Spanish hospital having it removed and recovering.. Obviously was told I couldnt fight but I I couldnt pull out..my pride and stupidity wouldnt let me, I done some stupid things to hide the fact that I was fucked. I removed the staples early and covered the marks with makeup ,I had spent my ticket commission money on the last weeks training camp 😩 I still had to cut the weight for the fight aswell..thats sucked 😂 Alot of my fighters,friends and family were worried about me, I just wouldnt have it.. I recently had the pleasure of speaking with the new Iraqi Prime Minister, Mr. Mustafa Al-Kadhimi. I congratulated him on forming his new government. We discussed the importance of addressing the demands of the Iraqi protestors, as many sacrificed their lives to fight for a more equitable future. We spoke about the need to include Yazidis, other minorities, and women in government positions in the new Iraq government. I illustrated the urgent need to search for and rescue the thousands of still missing Yazidi women and children. We also spoke about the need for a dignified return for Yazidis who are still internally displaced through the restoration of basic services in Sinjar and support for local governance and security in Sinjar. I am happy to see my photo project „Kandaka – Women of the Sudanese Revolution“ as one of the 50 selected works at the @lumixfestival. In this project I share the experiences of five women from different backgrounds who participated in the Sudanese revolution that overthrew the regime of Omar al-Bashir last year. Based on their memories we created portraits and reenacted situations together. In addition, I documented objects and places that were of special importance for the protagonists. . 1 - Nagda Mansour: End of June 2019, I took part in a demonstration against the Khartoum massacre. Suddenly snipers started shooting. I was almost hit, but luckily I managed to escape through a hole in the fence. Together with other women and I ran to the next building- a hospital. We found a hiding place and heard the people outside being shot and beaten by the military. We were sure they would catch us, beat us and rape us, but luckily they didnt find us. 2 - I remember a big womens demonstration in Khartoum. Hundreds of people were protesting together on the street. After a long march, it started to rain but we kept walking in the direction of the sit-in. When we arrived the revolutionaries started chanting: Even if it rains, we will stay! All those people were so full of life and energy. At that moment, all my fears disappeared. Its painful, but true: nature couldnt beat this guys, but bad cops could. . 3 - In Dec. 2018, I was arrested with 21 women at the presidential palace when we asked Bashir to step down. We were treated better than ordinary criminals but it was still hard. Bats hung from the ceiling; ten of us in a 25qm cell; it was a struggle to get soap. We didnt know how long we would be imprisoned, so we looked for ways to deal with a long incarceration. When they set us free after 75 days, everyone tried to take along a memento. I took this comb.
