Facebook just reminded me that on this day 8 years ago I’d just returned from backpacking Europe for 3 months with two of my best mates where I had the epiphany that I needed to pursue Motorsport for a living. I sold my house, sold or packed my things and started a 3,440km (2,137 mile) drive to Melbourne to take the first steps. Today I started a drive that’s only 20km shorter to head from Austin to Seattle for round two of the Formula Drift championship.
