Ti tudtátok, hogy Micimackó igazából kanadai származású?🐻🏕🦟 🇬🇧From Lion’s Head we took a ferry to the Manitoulin Island and from there we were hitchhiking direction British Columbia. On the road we stopped by some places, like the Lake Superior State Park, where we saw really old paintings on the cliff made by the First Nation in Canada. We slept in a Reserve of the First Nation and once we found a little homemade climbing wall and millions of mosquitoes too. Also we had a chance to see Winnipeg, which is the hometown of Winnie the Pooh. Kathy Knapp came to Pie Town in 1995 during a family road trip. But the lone cafe selling pie was closed with a for-sale sign out front. She bought the place for her mother to run, but eventually took over and, by 2016, served only pie, including favorites such as New Mexico Apple with Green Chile and Pine Nuts. It’s Sunday Funday! We are so grateful to all our customers and wine club members that have been visiting the winery from the start of Covid through the lessening of restrictions. . We have the perfect venue to come and relax in a socially distanced way that still feels somewhat “normal”. . This morning, seven women began their 116-mile walk of the Harriet Tubman Underground Railroad Byway! The idea started with talented jazz artist Linda Harris. She put out the word to see if anyone wanted to join her. And now these women, strangers just a few months ago, have joined together for a powerful experience of walking in Harriet Tubman’s footsteps from Cambridge, MD to Kennett Square, PA.
