This “silly little virus”, as Nug calls it, has brought about so much change for us. Amongst the turbulent waves, so much unexpected opportunity. Exploring a new part of the world, new friends, a lot more still time together and... the new addition to our team. . We’re renovating Adams van and waiting for interstate boarders to open so we can start our road trip through the Northern Territory to WA so I can finally kiss my besties pregnant belly or maybe introduce our nuggets if boarder opening takes a while. . The Whitsunday Islands and endless crystal clear surf breaks in Queensland, Arnhem Land, Uluru and Kakadu National park in the Northern Territory, exploring the Kimberleys, hopefully scoring Gnaraloo and meeting the Ningaloo whale sharks in North WA before heading South to Asha and wine country. . I need to take this advice. My husband has this incredible ability to lie down and have a power nap DURING the DAYTIME! I find it virtually impossible, and I literally lie next to him despising every restful breath he takes, because I just know how much I’d benefit from even ten minutes of day time rest. PART 1 I didn’t actually care about how much I weighed until I missed my period. That was when my mom took me to the gynaec . I was shocked to see the weighing scale shoot 75 kgs. I was embarrassed, confused and tensed at the same time. But I didn’t bother to do something about it. I started getting called fat. I didn’t care! I took hormone pills and there comes my period every month . Phew! I thought I was cured. I was 18 then! I had acne . Which means i got acne advices, med suggestions and home remedies. I didn’t care! Until my mom bought a weighing scale home and I Checked to find that I am 78kgs now. Just 3 kgs gained. But my tummy made me look pregnant. And then lockdown happened. I started playing badminton everyday but I never stopped munching junks. I didn’t get my period that month. So I went to the doc. Took meds and my periods came in The next month that is June I decided not to take any mads And see if I’ll get my periods naturally. I didn’t maybe next month I told myself and decided to wait July was a big no. I worried if I will ever get pregnant! That very thought kicked in and I started to think sincerely about losing weight. Die Jungs streiten sich darüber, wer die Kleine länger halten darf und Alinchen tut so, als wäre es nie anders gewesen 😅 Sie hilft fleißig beim wickeln, umziehen und will sie immer „behandeln“ 👩🏻⚕️ Vor Eifersucht war hier Gottseidank nicht mal 1 Sekunde die Rede ❤️ ⠀ Mir geht es auch super 🙏🏼 Ich bin allerdings sehr froh, dass ich mich doch für 3 Tage Krankenhausaufenthalt und nicht für eine ambulante Geburt entschieden habe. Denn nun ist mein Wochenbett leider, wie erwartet, so gut wie vorbei 😑(nicht nachmachen bitte 😒) Ich versuche zwar zwei Gänge zurückzuschalten und mich immer wieder zu erholen. Aber so richtig klappen tut das nicht 🙈 So ist das Leben in einer Großfamilie 🤪 Aber ich beschwere mich nicht. Ayer fue el #diadelnacimientomultiple La maternidad múltiple a mí me lleno de fuerza; me ayudo a sentirme bendecida y más poderosa... me ayudó a cambiar la mirada y acomodar las prioridades, lo convirtió a Gino en el mejor hermano mayor y me hizo valorar aun más a mi familia... Claro que también fue difícil, agotador por momentos, pero siempre tuve esa sensación de que si me tocó es porque podía y me iban a mostrar el camino que necesitaba transitar y siento que siempre es así con lo que nos toca... Esta comunidad me hizo compartir tantas cosas con muchas mamás múltiples... Poder armar tribu de apoyo, comunidad para ayudarnos y sentir que no estamos solas es muy necesario... A veces vamos a sentir que no damos más y eso también está bien, pero pasan tan rápido esos momentos de alta demanda que pensarlo así alivia y ayuda a disfrutar más el presente... siempre hay preocupaciones, temas para ocuparse y preguntas sobre cómo hacer mejor con las necesidades de nuestros hijos y a mí me pasa con Luca y Piero que quiero respetar su conexión que traen desde la panza pero también respetarle su individualidad y a veces no es fácil... Moeder worden… het is mijn (Loulou) levenslange verlangen, maar het was Isabella’s zwangerschap die mijn vuurtje aanwakkerde om mij te verdiepen in de wonderlijke wereld van het moederschap. Ik wist al het één en ander van Ayurveda, en dat het een hele afdeling heeft rondom zwangerschap en postnatale zorg van 42 dagen. Ook had ik al een algemene driedaagse cursus gevolgd over Ayurvedische voeding. ⠀ ⠀ Om mijn zus op de best mogelijke manier te ondersteunen in haar zwangerschap en post-natale periode, volgde ik een cursus over Ayurvedische geboorte en post-natale zorg. Ik was eigelijk nog meer geïntrigeerd door de eeuwenoude gezondheidsleer en besloot de volledige 4jarige opleiding te volgen, met in mijn achterhoofd altijd de persoonlijke interesse voor het moederschap. ⠀ ⠀ Hoe meer ik mij in dit onderwerp verdiep, hoe meer ik de waarde inzie van een goede voorbereiding. Het fundament van de gezondheid van je kindje begint namelijk al vóór de conceptie. Ook de fysieke, emotionele en mentale gesteldheid van de moeder tijdens de zwangerschap heeft invloed op het welzijn van het nieuwe leven, maar ook op het herstel van de pasgeboren moeder. ⠀ ⠀ Mijn opgedane kennis heb ik gebundeld met @isabellamachine haar ervaringen als plant based mom, en de orthomoleculaire wetenschap die therapeut Sharon Asscher van @voedingmaaktjebeter deelt in een instagram cursus: Glow Mama - plantaardige voeding en Ayurveda bij pre-conceptie, zwangerschap en 42 dagen herstel. Deze cursus die 19 oktober van start gaat, heb ik niet alleen voor mezelf gemaakt (Ik zit voorlopig nog in de pre-conceptie fase :P ) maar ook voor andere vrouwen met een kinderwens, mama’s die zwanger zijn, of mama’s die pas een kindje hebben gehad. Ik gun jou deze kennis om ondersteund met de juiste voeding, leefstijl richtlijnen en selfcare je baby, maar ook vooral jezelf een vitale start te geven. ⠀ ⠀ Wil je hier meer over leren?
