If you are spending hours exercising each week and not seeing results it could be that you aren’t getting the most you can from each movement. . I did a post similar to this last week and many of you said it was helpful, so I’ll try to do these more often. . 🔈The 1st five videos are the movements. The next 5 videos are the movement with a voiceover with all of the correct cues so make sure your sound is ON. . Before I start a set I think what muscle am I trying to strengthen? I focus on that muscle and I squeeze it really hard during the movement. It’s so important to have that mind muscle connection. When I first started lifting two years ago I just used momentum and moved the weight. Make sure and go slow and controlled thinking about what you are doing. Focus on that muscle. . I like going slow because the longer that muscle is under tension the better. If you are flapping your arms up and down getting tired and sweaty like a cardio workout it’s going to take much longer so see results in strength and size. . Film yourself. Do you look like me when I started on the left or me now on the right? Now you might not be making all of the mistakes on the left as it’s a little exaggerated but hopefully you see something that maybe you could improve upon which will help you see the progress you are working so hard to get. . Hopefully these tips are helpful! Let me know if you have a certain exercise you’d like me to do this for.
