- Tip: if you have an oil filter in a god awful place thats tight you can put a hoseclamp over it put a socket on that hoseclamp and hit the socket a couple of times with a hammer

- Customer ripped his front derailleur off when his chain broke (outter link flared open and caught the cage) thus totalling his carbon frame. This is one reason why most new high end mountain bikes have a single gear in front and a super wide range cassette in the rear (one by drive train).

- 07 Acadia 3.6l Timing issue. when I turn the motor over to verify timing every couple half turns the chain tensioner on both the left/right head will push back in causing slack, and the chain rises, but never skips. Doing another half turn gets rid of the slack, and the tensioner fully extends

- A little tip for installing timing belts... use a light spring clip to hold the belt to the cam sprocket when installing the belt. It reduces the chance of the belt slipping or hopping and makes an audience click if the belt shifts.
