Das relíquias da infância. Achei uma das bonecas de quando era menina. Eu e meu irmão fomos tentar terminar de desmontar a casa que um dia foi de nosso pai e nossa mãe e onde passamos parte de nossas vidas. Achamos coisas incríveis. Carta e fotos e livros do bebê. Carrinhos, bonecas e livros, tudo junto e misturado. Nossos pais nos educaram com um olhar tão amoroso para todas as possibilidades de ser. Me lembro como se fosse hoje do dia que comprei esta boneca na Feira da Providência quando ainda era na Lagoa. Lembro de voltar para casa abraçada com minha boneca e me sentir tão feliz. Desde pequena fui educada pra inclusão. Hoje entendo meus pais e o trabalho lindo que eles fizeram. Que bom aprender a ressignificar o olhar. Daqui até a eternidade reverencio Sergio e Anna Elisa, que me permitiram brincar de ser quem eu quisesse! Ive been a Curly Girl for about two years now, and though Im not as dedicated as others, I am enjoying its benefits. It took me years to unlearn and move beyond the negative conditioning society associates with curly hair (its unruly, its messy and if you believe Bollywood, its not sanskaari). Years spent battling with hairdressers and others who didnt understand my hair and how it deserves to be treated. Being a #curlygirl changed my life in many ways. It taught me how to care for my hair and it gave me a newfound confidence in myself. This (unending) lockdown, the only discipline I practise is caring for my hair.
