- This is Crookshanks. My eight year old son picked him out from the Humane Society in New Years Eve 2018 when he was a kitten, and he was the best snuggler I’ve ever known. Two days ago, he was killed by a predator less than fifty feet from our home. It’s been a rough weekend.
