The diary is the symbol of his first act of rebellion against the Party, as well as a symbol of his fear. It starts out being the key component for the story and eventually fades away as if it never existed. “Reading this made me feel a little less like I’m losing my mind. Grief is the most isolating feeling and this is incredibly put. I figured I would post this for anyone who may need this today. Though the grieving cycle is tough, I realize more and more everyday that Claire’s work on Earth is just beginning. My first attempt of a List Poem! This is a little project started by Bhavana ( @oct.ober.19 ) as she gathered nine other writers, from different parts of the world, for this collab in two weeks, to unite in our pens and write about NAMES I HAVE CALLED MYSELF which is an amazing prompt idea by @jessjanz and inspiration by @wordsbyberly .
