I’ll be 34 next month & I even have some lil wrinkles to prove it. I’m thankful for all the places God has taken me into, and out of. For the people He has let me love and be loved by. Mostly, thankful He loves us all as we are but loves us wayyy too much to leave us that way. If I’ve learned anything at all, only knowing Jesus for the last 5-6 years, it’s the following: 🤍 I am a sinner in desperate need of a savior. I do what I don’t want to do, and I don’t do what I want to...and yet, each day God gives a fresh chance to surrender it all and get back up on the🐴 and try again 🤍In the best & worst seasons, God is the answer. When everything is going great, it’s Him who we thank and when everything’s going wrong, it’s Him we can turn to and rest in. We live in a fallen, broken world and He does NOT want to see us suffering and that’s why He gives us the option of surrendering & resting in a peace that surpasses all human understanding. 🤍 no pandemic, illness, lie, loss, situation, person or thing is too big for God to heal, remove, change, undo. Sometimes, He lets us walk through things longer than we prefer to help, grow, sharpen us..whether we see it in that time, or not. 🤍forgiveness is a COMMAND & is to be given f r e e l y despite deservedness, circumstance or how the other person is acting. we’re forgiven AS WE forgive other’s trespasses y’all. it’s not optional; sure, you can/should remove yourself, where possible, from unrepentant and unwilling to change/grow people but you still have to FORGIVE them, whether they’re sorry or not. Jesus said it best, “forgive them Father, they know not what they do.” And when people *are* repentant, we better forgive them over + over again. I thought I was so forgiving and have had to learn this anew 💣💥 #truth 🤍 marriage is the perfect example of Christ’s love because in order to succeed, you truly must learn to die to your self, and put your partner ahead of you, or it doesn’t really work out. it’s worth it 1000%. @mcastromusic is worth it 3000. 🤍 love + solid community = answer to literally everything 🤍 I ain’t perfect but I’m worth it & so are YOU I love y’all! Asian Chic 🇹🇭 💃🏽🕺🏽 Self Portraits 📸 Dream comes true, I always wanted to dress like this, 19th century Siamese ( Thailand) costumes thanks to my friend at @arpa_patra featuring the darling @candy_chaya 💜❤️💚💛🧡💕 I love this way of dressing and the use of colours, traditionally, for each day we have “lucky” colours like, Red for Sunday, Yellow for Monday, Pink for Tuesday, Green for Wednesday, Orange for Thursday, Blue for Friday, Purple for Saturday. The way to dressed up and show off back then without fancy designer labels, people collected expensive textiles from handwoven silk, hand printed, hand painted, gilded, embroidery, etc. some take months or years to create ( and u can be on the wait list lol) I was lucky I grew up seeing my grandma who was in the Thai silk business and even tho her style became more modern and westernized but she stills used colours this way and on days she had to pick certain coloyrscto wear like pink, she’d bring out various shades of pink like dusty rose, lotus, magenta, fuchsia, all the various beautiful pink. Alice has really missed Athletics during lockdown. Thankfully the season only had to finish a bit early, although we still don’t know when next season will be able to start. Aths is her favourite sport & her coach is always so supportive. He gives up countless hours every week to manage the team, train them, coordinate & train for comps like relays. I honestly don’t know how he does it!! Our club presentation day had to be on Zoom this year and her coach organised to secretly deliver medals to all the winners houses so that their parents could surprise them during the Zoom presentation. It meant so much to Alice, I totally teared up as I got to present her with a medal 🥰 She really can’t wait to go back!! Together with @elastoplastanz, we’re celebrating our unsung local sporting heroes, the coaches, the team managers, the parents, they all do an amazing job & will be there ready for action when our sporting clubs can open up again! Dear @jntexpressid sudah 5 bulan aku menghabiskan waktu di rumah saja karena rsgm tempat aku menyelesaikan pendidikan drg diliburkan. Untuk mengisi hari hari di rumah agar tidak makan, tidur dan nonton drama korea saja, aku memutuskan untuk membuka online shop ( @gekies.id ) yang berjualan barang-barang ramah lingkungan. Ditengah-tengah menjalankan aktivitas berjualan aku menemukan satu kendala, yaituu memori hp yang terlalu kecil sehingga tidak bisa menginstall sosial media serta ecommerce, dan kadang-kadang tidak bisa melakukan foto/video produk karena memori sudah penuh oleh aplikasi chating yang juga sebagai jalan komunikasi perkuliahan jarak jauh. Alasan kedua aku membuka onlineshop juga agar mendapat uang jajan tambahan dan belajar menghasilkan uang sendiri agar kedepannya bisa mandiri secara finansial. Buat ganti hp, uang tabungan belum cukup, minta ganti hp ke orangtua harus berpikir 2 kali, karena bulan depan juga harus bayar uang kuliah ditambah selama pandemi semua sektor ekonomi mengalami penurunan. Bisakah @jntexpressid mewujudkan mimpi aku untuk mendaptkan hp dengan memori kapasitas 256GB dan kamera bagus seperti iphone 11/11 pro max ? aku yakin kedepannya bisa memaksimalkan aktivitas onlineshop dengan menginstall social media, ecommerce dan foto produk dengan kualitas yang bagus di 1 gadget serta perkuliahan jarak jauh juga tidak terhambat.
