Megalodon hunting...prehistoric elephants! 😨 By PaleoGuy (James Kuether) The Megalodon, which went extinct millions of years ago, was the largest shark ever to prowl the oceans and one of the largest fish on record. The scientific name, Carcharocles megalodon, means giant tooth, and for good reason: Its massive teeth are almost three times larger than the teeth of a modern great white shark. The megalodons fossilized bones and teeth give scientists major clues about what the creature was like and when it died off. In 2014, a research group at the University of Zurich studied megalodon fossils using a technique called optimal linear estimation to determine their age. Their research, published in the journal PLOS ONE, found that most of the fossils date back to the middle Miocene epoch to the Pliocene epoch (15.9 million to 2.6 million years ago). All signs of the creatures existence ended 2.6 million years ago in the current fossil record, the authors wrote. For comparison, our earliest Homo sapiens ancestors emerged only 2.5 million years ago, during the Pleistocene epoch, according to the University of California Museum of Paleontology. A very small portion of the Zurich studys data — 6 out of 10,000 simulations — showed a 1% chance that these giant sharks could still be alive. BLACK GOO PT 2 (Finally) If you don’t know what Black Goo is or how it came to earth, stop now and read my first post which I’ve just posted in stories. I’ll combine both posts into one highlight soon. This ones a wild rabbit-hole for sure . The public did not get anywhere NEAR the reality of events that happened at Deepwater Horizon. What I did for this post was combine screens from the Godlike Productions forum the information came from. The boyfriend of a French diplomat was live streaming the updates as they came in on her laptop over “DED” channels- Digital Emergency Scrambling Device. You can find the post online by searching the forum- however the post is hundreds of pages long- this is the condensed version. The names of all the ships mentioned have been verified, even those from other countries, the code names and military lingo used has been checked out and even the most hardened skeptics on the site feel this was a genuine leak. France was probably aware of the UK gaining access to barrels of sentient Black Goo during the Falklands War in the 80’s (SEE PART 1), and they had to have known of the Marconi experiments with Reagan’s Star Wars program which was utilizing the negative AI Black Goo. They probably felt left out & wanted a piece of the action, which would explain their risky move here of disabling the US “sonic alarm” where the drilling was taking place on the Gulf platform, to get the Black Goo samples (according to the forum). Some notable moments: After acquiring the samples, the GPC sub Captain reports “B3 cargo gone live” & asks for urgent priority instructions. The GCP was requesting immediate permission to jettison the cargo to the Mistral ship- because the Black Goo was growing and they could not stop it!
