Sim, a maior ferramenta na psicoterapia é a fala, mas o que acontece na sessão é muito mais que conversa. Sim, a maior potência do trabalho terapêutico reside no vínculo entre o profissional e o sujeito, mas o psicólogo não é amigo. A terapia é um trabalho de construção: a parceria, acolhimento, ausência de julgamentos e a escuta qualificada são os materiais para aquele que busca ajuda construir seu caminho de autoconhecimento, amor próprio e conforto em ser quem é. O psicólogo estuda MUITO, de maneira formal e na sua própria terapia para afinar cada vez mais a capacidade de ouvir as mensagens por trás do discurso, questionar o que precisa e propor novas alternativas de pensamentos, comportamentos e manejo de emoções. Um bom processo terapêutico é bem mais intenso, afinado e verdadeiro que muita amizade por aí. Ik neem actie voor Yulia omdat ik nooit bang heb hoeven zijn dat mijn vrijheid kan worden weggenomen als gevolg van wat ik teken of zeg. Daarnaast vind ik het belangrijk dat kinderen opgroeien met beelden van realistische vrouwen; we zijn slim, sterk, en bekwaam, onafhankelijk van ons uiterlijk. 🌸 . Saying that the last 6 months have been a roller coaster of emotions would be an understatement. My life looks very different to what it was at the start of the year (self-isolation, permanently WFH, resignation…) but I couldn’t be happier. At first, when I was told to self-isolate, not being able to go out for 2 FULL weeks seemed insane. But also necessary as cases were rising and I had to do my part. All of a sudden, my home became my office, my gym, my meditation area, my everything literally. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I quickly realised how lucky I was to have this opportunity to finally bring Women MAKE Stories to life. No more ‘the next train will arrive in 2 minutes’ when you’re already late, no more waking up at the crack of dawn to go to the gym to fit it all in with my schedule. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ This was my time to slow down, reflect, check in with my body and mind. To ask myself honestly and with no judgement: what’s stopping me to take WMS to the next level? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I had already been working on my business for some months before the pandemic hit but for some reasons, I couldn’t connect all the dots. Being a creative, I knew I needed a business coach, someone who could keep me accountable and guide me into this new adventure. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ WMS is also about collaboration and for me it was important to work with women whose values aligned with mine. Looking for the right coach wasn’t as easy as I thought because there are so many incredible women out there (I will tell you more about these women soon) but ultimately I knew that @lauren.osullivan_ was the right choice for me. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The way she believed in me and WMS from the very beginning gave me the confidence to stop being afraid of putting myself and the business out there.
