A noite de ontem foi muito especial para a minha vida profissional, fui empossado Presidente da AEAP (Associação de Engenheiros e Arquitetos de Pelotas) e gostaria de compartilhar o discurso que preparei para esse momento! Chegou o grande dia então!? Pelo menos para mim está sendo e estava o aguardando já faz algum tempo! Tudo tem o momento certo para acontecer, temos que saber respeitar o tempo das coisas, e que bom que esse dia chegou, estou muito feliz. Gostaria de cumprimentar e agradecer a presença de todos, pelas palavras de boas vindas do nosso ex-Presidente, o Eng. Rul Antunes, e ressaltar que o empenho da nossa diretoria foi fundamental para que tudo pudesse acontecer. É uma honra estar nessa posição, que julgo tão importante para as nossas profissões, numa entidade que está completando 50 anos de história. Não foi uma tarefa fácil aceitar esse nobre convite da minha querida colega, a Arq. Helenice Couto. Num primeiro momento pensei em refugar, pensei em todas as responsabilidades a serem assumidas e as que ainda estão por vir. Mas num segundo momento, depois de conversar com a minha família, pensei “porque não? Posso contribuir de alguma forma”, desde então muita coisa mudou. Venho trabalhando muito e buscando meu lugar no mercado profissional já fazem 11 anos e posso dizer que já passei por poucas e boas. Nosso mercado é bastante competitivo, mas acredito ter espaço para todos. Num ano tão difícil, devemos nos unir e fortalecer ainda mais a nossa classe. Em tempos de Pandemia, estou eu aqui, falando com uma câmera, diretamente da minha churrasqueira, que agora virou também meu homeoffice, um lugar que convivi muitos bons momentos com a minha família e amigos, e que voltaremos a conviver muito em breve, assim eu espero. Estou muito honrado e agradecido em poder representar os arquitetos e engenheiros da nossa cidade, espero não desapontá-los, e podem contar comigo para o que precisarem. Sinto que todo o meu esforço está valendo a pena, que estou no caminho certo, em meio a tantas incertezas. Nossas profissões não sobrevivem uma sem a outra e tudo nasce através de uma boa ideia!
