Dear LA friends, I will be printing these today and will be handing them out to my neighbors around my neighborhood. Let me know if you’d like some so you can do the same! Get to know your community and start depending on each other instead of the LAPD & LASD // If you’d like to pick up some from me, dm me and I got you! Big ty @shunkinoshita for designing 🖤 ALSO LA brands: consider maybe adding something like this to all your LA orders, just a suggestion 🖤Update: some of these numbers like Suicide Hotline will end up sending the LAPD (use at your own discretion) but I do hope that this opens up the dialogue with your neighbors and we can continue to push our mayor and council members to fund community based programs that can pay mental health professionals and healers to help in these specific departments. Lastly I am working on a Spanish, Korean and Mandarin version. Coming Soon! 😘❤️inspired by @bbyquail original post 💪🏾 - @keylakeylakeyla on Instagram

So worth the read 🙏🏽 ⬇️ Reposted from @the.holistic.psychologist What if couples goals transitioned from how two people appear in an Instagram photo to two people working to heal generational trauma cycles? What if we obsessively stopped focusing on longevity of relationships + focused on their depth? What if two people came together with an understanding that both of them were projecting the pain of a conflicted relationship with a parent? What if love meant freedom, safety, + reliability rather than what is glorified in culture: trauma bonds? What if instead of believing someone was responsible for our happiness, we took responsibility to create our own? What if we healed from childhood trauma + stopped fantasizing that someone can (+ should) save us.What if we stopped betraying ourselves to be chosen?Love is responsibility #selfhealers . . #godfirst #love #purpose #relationships #relationshipgoals #trauma #therapy #generationalcurses #healing #growth #spiritualawakening #freedom #peace #manifest #bestisyettocome - @empowering_worldchangers on Instagram

Repost from @indiansextherapist • I take these teachings from Queer Culture very seriously. And Id add: - While Mental Health is important and navigating it, is hard, more so as a queer person who receives negative messages because of it, community management and conflict resolution are skills that have to be worked upon, within the realm of Mental Health. Queer culture also taught me the value of navigating challenging conversations, in a way that straight culture just did not. : : For the folks who may be unfamiliar, this doesnt mean all people who are queer (LGBTQIA) are amazing at conflict and independent thinkers! It means in the mainstream of queer culture, these are the norms, it is what is considered normal. Like in straight culture, marriage and babies by a certain age with a certain type of person are considered normal. Shared by @Athina_92 - My name is Genesis. I’m a mother to 3 girls. My baby is 8 months now and 6 months ago I finally asked for help. We discovered I suffer from severe PTS, severe anxiety, and PPD. Due to me breastfeeding I decided to not take medication. It has been a very hard journey with some of the darkest times of my life. Love your self and everyday try to find something you love to do for your self. Remember you are still yourself aside from being a mom, you are important, and you still matter too. Our feelings and emotions are just as important as our newborns. Please don’t be afraid to ask for help. For a very long time I thought I had it “ all under control “ because I never thought of hurting myself. I was wrong and that day came. I kept thinking my daughters need me more then anyone. I can’t leave them at the same time I was thinking my husband and them would be better off with out me. I think after going through so much while pregnant and in labor, the least I can do is ask for help to feel like I did something FOR ME and remind myself I’m still GENESIS, not only MOM. I tend to my blame my hard pregnancy and traumatic labor for the postpartum depression and I feel guilt for that. While others describe it as the most beautiful time of their lives I think of it and start getting anxiety. My pregnancy was so hard bc of Hyperemesis and my labor was traumatic to me in my head due to it being so fast and having no time for any type of medication. To make things worse I left work at 6 months have been home since April of last year sick in bed, then the baby came and right when when my life would go back to “normal “ Covid hit. I’ve now been home for 1 year 4 months. I know one day I will look back and be glad I made it. know I can do it. It’s really frustrating that not many people understand when you say you have been quarantined since April and they take it so lightly while I’m here screaming to get out of my house without the worry of getting the virus... - @motherhoodunderstood on Instagram

Ever feel like when you try to express a negative emotion to someone it gets shut down with “oh don’t feel that way, you should be happy for all the good things in your life!” Or something along the lines of that... I’ve been seeing this term toxic positivity floating around lately and can definitely see how trying to promote positive growth on social media can turn into something “toxic” especially when our negative emotions aren’t validated or expressed appropriately. Sometimes our friends and family need to vent, and express their emotions, and process bad emotions without being met with responses that may be inspiring the act of suppressing their emotions (obviously we all come from a good place when consoling our confidants). Help your friends and family during this difficult year by responding to their struggles by using some of these tips in this awesome graphic. Or simply just be there and listen, hold space and meet them with empathy and a simple “I’m so sorry, this sucks, I’m here, you’re not alone, what can I do to make you smile”. And most importantly when being on the receiving end of listening to the struggles of a close companion: let them know in order to heal, emotions must be expressed through words, tears, screams, and healthy (non threatening to themselves or others) expressions of feelings by simply vocalizing through words or sounds. Emotional energy needs to be released out of the physical body or else it gets stored and manifests into physical symptoms (pain, tension, illness etc). The more we can support each other, the faster we can heal ❤️ 📷: great graphic by @ourmamavillage - @balanced_babe on Instagram

Anxiety Attack vs. Panic Attack ⬇️ A panic attack is an intense and sudden feeling of fear, terror, or discomfort accompanied by several other mental and physical symptoms. The symptoms of panic attacks are often so extreme that they cause severe disruption. According to the DSM-5, a panic attack is characterized by four or more of the following symptoms: Feelings of unreality (derealization), Feeling detached from oneself (depersonalization), Fear of losing control or going crazy, Fear of dying (mental symptoms) and Heart palpitations, pounding heart, or accelerated heart rate, Excessive sweating, Trembling or shaking, Sensations of shortness of breath, difficulty breathing, Feeling of choking, Chest pain, Nausea or abdominal distress, Feeling dizzy, unsteady, lightheaded, or faint, Numbness or tingling sensations (paresthesias), Chills, Hot flashes (physical symptoms). In contrast, anxiety generally intensifies over a period of time and is highly correlated with excessive worry about some potential danger—whether real or perceived.3 If the anticipation of something builds up and the high amount of stress reaches a level where it becomes overwhelming, it may feel like an attack. The symptoms of anxiety may include the following: Difficulty concentrating, Irritability, Restlessness (mental symptoms) and Fatigue, Muscle tension, Disturbed sleep, Increased startle response, Increased heart rate, Dizziness (physical symptoms). This week is #BalanceAwarenessWeek and it’s really important to me as I’ve been helping to plan the first ever Vestibular Conference for @vestibularveda. Today’s topic was all about Navigating the Health System and was great presentation on how to get an accurate diagnosis with Dr. Kim Bell and and an open discussion with patients @true_kaylaisms and David Morrill. . I love that we kicked off with this topic as it is so important and the words “misdiagnosed” and “misinformed” came up often. There’s nothing quite like seeing a “D’s Best” ENT and having him tell you that your episodes of vertigo and feeling like you’re moving when standing still is normal (it’s not) and that it would go away with time (it didn’t) before finally admitting he didn’t have a clue. I saw some of the best neurologists in Dallas that never once mentioned migraine to me, instead almost blaming my symptoms on me, saying they were anxiety or depression induced (they weren’t). They completely overlooked key symptoms and history, unaware that migraine attacks don’t always include head pain. No one should ever have to deal with constant, terrifying symptoms while doctors just look at you like 🤷🏼♀️👍. . This is why I created my Vestibular Migraine Guide that helps you navigate what doctors to see, how to prepare for your appointment, and what to expect when you feel totally lost. If you or a friend ever experience any dizziness, vertigo, odd sensations like walking on clouds or marshmallows, or a detached feeling from your body, have them read this post! https://thedizzycook.com/the-vestibular-migraine-guide-for-dummies/ . . . . . . . #vestibularmigraine #vestibularrehabilitation #vestibulardisorder #vestibulardisease #vestibulartherapy #vestibularneuritis #pppd #migraine #migraineawareness #migraines #migrainelife #migrainesurvivor #migrainecommunity #migraineproblems #invisibleillness #invisibleillnessawareness #chronicillnessawareness #chronicillnessblogger #invisibledisability #migraineassociatedvertigo #vertigo #vertigosucks #dizziness #dizzinessrelief - @thedizzycook on Instagram

Happy Sunday friends! . Just wanted to leave this anxiety “cheat sheet” here as we gear up to start a brand new week (nothing like a good cheat sheet, right? 😉😊). . The awesome thing about working with anxiety is that there are so many things we can do to manage it. . It’s a mixture of taking care of our mind, our behaviors, and our body. . Tapping into these three areas and figuring out what you can do in an anxious moment can be so empowering. . It’s also important to remember different things work for different people. Developing your tool box of skills and things that work for your anxiety is highly personal and subjective. . Would love to hear your thoughts! What would you add? . Taking Care Of Yourself. In the midst of living life, being busy or rushing around, are you conscious of how you’re taking care of yourself? Taking care of one’s self is fundamental in life. Often we can forget or overlook how important this is for our daily existence. Prior to burning out, I thought I was taking care of myself. I exercised regularly (and likely at times, too much, as I was also teaching fitness) and I ate my regular meals, (although looking back, not nutritionally), but there were other areas of my being where I failed to look after myself. Can you relate? I was focused on taking care of the physical aspects of my being, but neglected other areas and perhaps even assumed that they would take care of themselves. It was only after my health crisis that I realised the gaps in my self care. At one time, whilst working with me, one of my clients commented: “Lillian, I didn’t realise that taking care of myself is a full time job”. And it is. We live in our bodies and function from our brains 24-7, and if we’re not taking good care of our vessels, as well as, creating a healthy lifestyle and environment in order to thrive, we’ll start to see our health, and well-being collapse. This is why I created the Wheel Of Wellness as a reminder of areas we get to take care of, so that we can flourish and flow in life. Feel free to share with others 💚 #takecareofyourself #realselfcare #selfcare #worklifebalance #wellness #healthylifestyle #wellbeing #mentalwellbeing #emotionalfitness #calmthemind #relaxthebody #stressrelief #womenshealthcoach #wellnesscoach #healthcoach - @lillianlartey_ on Instagram

@zipporahthevegan OMG THIS THIS THIS!!!! Too many nonvegans do not want to see how their food is produced but a lot of these same people like to crack jokes like yuuuuum bacon. And yes of course it extremely difficult to see what is happening to other animals but its even worse to ignore it so you wont have to confront some of the most abhorrent abuse on the planet. Other animals deserve as much protection and attention as the rest of us. The fact that so many *know* they cant handle the abuse they endure means veganism is on the right side of history. Emotionale Reife ist so ein Thema, was viele Leute triggert. Ich habe lange dazugehört - eben weil ich immer dachte, ich bin viel reifer als der Rest und die, die mich unreif finden, sind einfach nur DOOF und GEMEIN! 🥶 🤯 Doch was heißt emotionale Reife eigentlich? - Getting my life together

Over the past few days, I’ve been struggling and having dealt with mental health problems for a long time, I’ve learnt to recognise the signs that I’m finding things harder than usual. I can’t really pinpoint what’s wrong, I just don’t feel right. I’ve been finding it hard to get up in the mornings, I’ve had panic attacks (something I haven’t experienced in months), my thoughts have felt completely uncontrollable. If you’re going through a difficult time at the moment, you’re not alone. I’m not sure what the answers are, this account has never been about giving advice and telling people how to be happy, it’s about me being honest, sharing my experiences, sharing things that have helped me, reminding you that you’re not alone. I am struggling at the moment, but that’s okay. And if you’re struggling, that’s okay. You will get through this. Recognising you are struggling is the first important step in helping yourself feel better💚 - @worrywellbeing on Instagram

This is a BIG list in terms of what most of us wish for our children. Research tells us that one, pretty manageable task, if done regularly will achieve these outcomes. That task is eating family meals together! It turns out that if we take the time and effort to sit and eat a meal together as a family most nights of the week there are massive benefits. Lets take that time!⠀ ⠀ Oh, and it helps our fussy eaters too!⠀ ⠀ #wholesomemealtimes#WMT#bringbackthejoy#fussyeaters#fussykids#fussyeater#fussyeatingtips#therapist#dinner#pickyeater#feeding#autism#parenting#parentingtips#parentinghacks#autism#autismeats#pickyeaterproblems - @wholesome.mealtimes on Instagram

Stop guilting yourself, mama. Being a mama is the most beautiful, wonderful, and difficult job in the world. We love our children so much, we want to give them the perfect upbringing. But is perfection a healthy goal? Perfect people (if they do exist) surely are incredibly BORING and imperfect, lol!😂 I’ve made plenty of mistakes raising my 4 kids, 👧🏻👧🏻🧒🏻👧🏻 but they survived and thrived anyway. 👆🏽Which one of the numbers in this graphic can you relate to??...messy house🏠 , picky toddler , a baby 👶🏽 who is poor sleeper? Do you guilt yourself for working? Do you count down the minutes until it’s time for your little one’s nap 💤 ? Do you hate playing legos and dinosaurs 🦕?… the list goes on. (On a side note--I don’t think dads guilt themselves like mamas do.) 💚You are an in the trenches, day in and day out, and you are AMAZING mama!! 💚Your child will grow up to be a better human if life is imperfect anyway. 👉🏼(A child who’s had all obstacles removed for them and problems solved for them, will have underdeveloped coping skills and problem-solving skills which will make it more difficult for that child to transition into adulthood). So do yourself and your child a favor and just ✅Relax, ✅Trust yourself and ✅ Love yourself. Hugs 🤗 to you mama. 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝 𝐢𝐬 𝐬𝐨 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐘𝐎𝐔! SOCIAL MEDIA TELLS US THAT SELF-LOVE MEANS…🤢 (and if you’ve seen @thesocialdilemma 🤦🏽♀️) ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ▪️being skinnier⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ▪️having thinner thighs⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ▪️applying a thick layer of makeup on your face every day to cover up all your flaws⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ▪️using filters so you don’t look “terrible” on camera⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ▪️be prettier in outrageous fashion ▪️comparing ourselves to everyone else⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ...and all the many other reasons that only destroys our self-esteem more and more.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Instead, self-love is first and foremost accepting yourself for whatever you are right now. Not how social media dictates. I’m so glad one of my dear friends and mentors @marisapeertherapy has made it a global mission to make sure we know how all of us are good enough. In fact, she’s going to be sharing this and help us rewire our brain at Live Big livestream next weekend, it’s gonna be 🔥🔥🔥. Link in bio for more deets. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ So it’s okay to accept the imperfection, embrace the messy and chaos. Happy weekend! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 📸@thehealedmind⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ .⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ .⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ .⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ .⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ .⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ .⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ #dontgiveup #dontgiveupquotes #keepgoing #dailyinspiration #dailyquote #dailygrowth #motivationalpost #weekendreminder #youareworthit #youarepowerful #yougotthis #youcan #youcandoit #keephustling #hustleeveryday #workonyourself #workhardplayhard #worksmart - @neetabhushan on Instagram

✽ 4 adult attachment styles in romantic relationships ✽⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ attachment styles are a relationship game-changer! they often explain relationship behaviours that are otherwise difficult to make sense of: ghosting, hot/cold, mixed messaging, clinginess, emotional drama, etc. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ what they are NOT meant to do is box people into categories- even if you have strong tendencies of one style, there is a lot more to the way you approach relationships than your attachment style.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ if you identify with the non-secure styles, take heart: attachment styles are malleable. there are ways we can shift to a more secure style of being in a relationship. we will address this in a future blog post! for now, check out our blog post The Ultimate Guide To Attachment Styles In Romantic Relationships for more details on each style listed here- link in bio! 👓⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ also, tag a friend who needs to see this! we could all use a little more self-awareness, you know? 👇🏽⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ #mentalhealth #psychotherapy #therapy #healing #psychotherapist #therapist #diversity #stress #mindfulness #intersectional #psychoeducation #poctherapist #wellnesttherapy #selfcare #selfacceptance #selfknowledge #toronto #trauma #antioppressive #antiracist #queerpositive #queerallied #love - @wellnesttherapy on Instagram

Boundaries Series: Part 3 of 4 💘 You don’t owe everyone and everything an explanation. Not everything needs sugar coating or softening. Being firm, assertive and decisive does not automatically equal being unkind. 🚧 Despite what we may be conditioned to believe, we are perfectly entitled to set boundaries. ⏰ Of course, if people in your life are used to you having very flexible boundaries or no boundaries at all, this new approach may create tension or friction. As long as you maintain and stick to your boundaries, this will be short lived as they’ll become used to your new approach. 🌻 Remember that avoiding some slight friction is not worth it when it could jeopardise your mental health. Healthy, strong boundaries are crucial for our mental health, self esteem and peace. 💛 The fourth and final part of this series will be coming tomorrow. I really hope you’ve found it helpful! 💛 ——————— #mhquotes #boundaries #mentalhealthquotes #settingboundaries #healthyboundaries #selfesteem #selfcompassion #mentalhealthquote #selfworth #assertiveness #mentalhealthawareness #mentalwellbeing #mentalwellness #mentalhealthmatters #mentalhealthtips #mellowdoodles - @mellow.doodles on Instagram

Be mindful of who you follow. Be careful who you allow to influence you. Pay attention to all the nuance, the in-between moments, the whole story and the subtle cues that tell you so much more than a shiny sound-bite, a sexy clip or an enticing (possibly highly edited) photo. . I know you like already know this and stuff, you smarty pants, but it’s also so, so easy to get sucked in. It’s so easy to view someone online as an “expert” simply because of their follower count, their conviction or their confidence. . Ask people about their education, certifications and experience. Ask for research, references and client referrals. If they are selling you products and services and they get offended by your questions or get defensive – pay attention! . If it seems someone you are following isn’t being forthcoming, ask if content is sponsored or if that specific post isn’t sponsored, ask if they have ever accepted money from that company or product. . Be weary of folks constantly pushing supplements and products, especially without any education or credibility behind it. . I get really fired up on the supplements thing. Supplements aren’t fluff, you can cause some significant damage and imbalances if you take a supplement that isn’t intended for your unique body. Just because it is “natural” does not mean it comes without significant risks. /rant - @bethmanosbrickey on Instagram

WHY SHOULD YOU CARE ABOUT ESTROGEN? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ If you’re here, you’re probably at least somewhat interested in hormone health. And so therefor you DEFINITELY need to know about estrogen - ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Estrogens are a group of sex hormones that are crucial for both sexual and reproductive health. Men and women both have them, but in very different amounts. Estrogen is produced in the ovaries and the adrenals and plays a large role in puberty and development of secondary sex characteristics. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Estrogen’s role in women is to do things like increase curves, make hair healthier, help to reduce acne, and regulate the part of the brain that is connected to sexual development. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ It has very important jobs in the menstrual cycle of encouraging the growth of the uterine lining during the first part of the cycle and stimulating the production of fertile CM. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The root cause of estrogen imbalance can be lifestyle, diet, toxin exposure, HBC, poor gut health, unhealthy BM’s, to name a few. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Inside of the Cycle Power Masterclass we’re digging into exactly what you need to know about your hormones and when they’re doing what! If you struggle with period problems such as PMS, acne, low libido, breast tenderness, bloating - or anything else - this free class is for you! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ LINK IN BIO ✨🔥 - @caleeshea on Instagram

How can you know if it’s anxiety or if it’s intuition?⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ .⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Anxiety: combo of fear, worry, and the actual feeling state of anxiety. It can be worry which is future oriented thoughts resistant to uncertainty and ambiguity. It can be fear, actual fear of imminent threat. It can be the feeling state of anxiety which is physiological arousal like difficulty breathing or sensations of tightness.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ .⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Intuition: It’s a deep sense. A knowing. Impressions. Clarity. 6th sense. Even when related to fear or warning, intuition is more calm and grounded. It’s resolve. It’s in your gut. It’s typically relieving instead of panic inducing.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ .⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ How do I know this? I don’t. It’s a hypothesis like every single thing I say. I’m not my ideas, but I have ideas. This one is from my intuition, job experience, and personal lived experience. Most of my counseling hacks are simply my observations of patterns mixed with my personal anxiety and intuition. I guess I throw in some psych facts and theory too. 😉⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ .⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Have you noticed confusion around these in your life? Does this provide clarity? Some examples of this: walking or sitting in nature and noticing how many sights, sounds, smells, and colors you can note; exercising; doing art; gardening/weeding; listening to or reading a book that is NOT on the subject causing anxiety; meditating; praying; journaling; dancing; jumping on a trampoline (you all know I love me some trampolining!).⠀ . ⠀ You will notice that these activities give the thinking mind a breather. They remind the mind that it doesn’t have to be solely responsible for solving or getting rid of your anxiety and fear. It’s in those moments when the mind is given the chance to pause it’s work that relief slips in, even if it’s momentary.⠀ .⠀ Those minutes of mind pause begin to create a different experience with your anxiety and fear, even if your external circumstances haven’t yet changed. And THAT is worth trying, huh? ❤️⠀ .⠀ .⠀ .⠀ .⠀ .⠀ #anxietytips #instapolitics #politics #democrats #republicans #election2020 #anxiety #stress #mindfulness #anxietyrelief #stressrelief #fear #anxietyproblems #anxietysupport #overthinking #anxietyhelp #stressmanagement #emotionalhealth #ruthbaderginsburg #selfcarethreads #cancer #copingskills #stressed #overwhelmed #mentalhealthtips #livingwithanxiety #pandemic2020 #uncertaintimes #groundingtechniques #mentalhealthtips - @dr.emily_colwell on Instagram

Did you know that the average adult can only identify 3 emotions? Happy, sad angry? That might explain why its so difficult to talk about our emotions, we simply dont have the language. And right now, Ive been having a LOT of feelings - and from what I hear Im not alone. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Theres fear, anxiety, uncertainty - will I ever be able to travel freely again? Plus overwhelm, powerlessness and anger - whats wrong with the world? But also a lot of gratitude, joy, curiosity and creativity - my friends and community are awesome! - Its a lot and we need to talk about this. So we need the language. Recently I learned about the Feelings Wheel during one of the amazing Eco Talks Workshops our lovely member Sophia Cheng @withmanyroots has been running in the DNG Inner Circle (this one was a collab with Naira Bonilla from @traversing_life). This wheel is an amazing tool to help us express our emotions and talk about whats going on in our hearts and minds. Google Feelings Wheel to get a bigger version, (the Calm website has one) and share below how youre feeling today! #digitalnomadgirls #feelingswheel #allthefeels #emotionalintelligence #womensupportingwomen - @digitalnomadgirls on Instagram

We may be seeing more of our houseless community members sleeping/resting/spending time in public spaces lately. This is a good resource to keep in mind when wondering what to do. Sometimes a “hi, how are you?” is all it takes. - @westbroadwaybiz on Instagram
