Hey there, it’s me Dana I wanted to take a moment to share my own personal hair journey over the last few years with you guys. To start I should say that I have always struggled with fine thin hair but 4-5 years ago my hair was at its absolute worst. It was constantly frizzy, dull, I had horribly dry flaky scalp, it was the thinnest it’s ever been and you could especially tell when I wore it up. I had extensions a few different times, which made me feel amazing and confident while they were in, but as soon as they came out I was even more depressed. All during this time my diet and health was not a priority and I could tell by how awful my skin and hair looked. I decided to change my lifestyle completely. I have been transitioning my home into 100% clean, chemical free, non toxic, synthetic fragrance free for 2-3 years now. In this transition I also got rid of all my old beauty products and replaced them with clean beauty product. I am the type of person who is intuitive with my body and always want to get to the root cause of any issues that may arise. A lot of products out there give us the bandaid effect and are just a temporary quick fix. These aren’t products that will not be sustainable for the long term. They most likely will cause worse side effects after awhile. Long story short I have now been using @innersenseorganicbeauty on my hair for almost a year along with @huihuiessentials for my scalp health. My hair is the healthiest, shiniest, and has thickened up tremendously especially the areas around my face and temples. Yes I still have fine hair thanks to genes lol but I am so amazed at what all these clean beauty products have done for me! I must also include that beauty comes from the inside out so along with switching up all these products I have a clean diet, drink plenty of water, and take good quality vitamins. I want to be transparent and tell you I am just the person to help guide you through this process but what you do day in and out with your hair will be the ultimate test! With @cw_supernatural shooting it’s last episode, I’ve seen a couple people post this and wanted to jump on. I was lucky enough to do a couple episodes of #Supernatural. And everything you’ve heard about working on that show is true. It is such a wonderful vibe throughout the entire cast and crew and it’s an environment where not only want to make work fun, you can tell the people are friends and actually care about each other. It’s super welcoming and it’s a refreshing feeling in this industry, especially considering some other shows where the vibe is sometimes toxic (not going to name names, no point throwing arrows at other shows). So shout out to @jaredpadalecki , @jensenackles , @thejimmichaels the directors, the entire cast and crew. I never got to work with @alexandercalvert (thank god) so he doesn’t get a shoutout.
