In 1976 she was 25 (until October 20th, a Libra queen) Last fall we learned she had developed lung cancer, and it all happened pretty fast. I was moving through big heartbreak when we found out, read: I was Fragile and also Preoccupied. In January we learned the treatments were working and she was cancer free. She is still cancer free today. And now at 26, I am using the bicycle that she got in 1976 feeling maybe too grateful to her, and to all her friends who helped raise me.
