Got this question today from one of you and wanted to talk about it. Hunger isn’t a bad thing! It’s not an emergency 🚑 If you’re on a Fatloss routine and on a caloric deficit, #hunger is to be expected. You can’t keep reaching for food or a ‘snack’ every time you feel a little hunger. Fat loss is about ‘cannibalizing’ your own bodys tissue for fuel because of a fuel shortage (which you create through a combination of caloric deficit and training) And when there is a ‘shortage of fuel’, it’s only natural for your body too ‘want more fuel’ = hunger. You shouldn’t be afraid of being hungry, but learn to embrace it as part of your #Fatloss program. Some tips that can help you with that hunger: 🥗 Eat a BIG salad once a day 🔫 Drink lots of water throughout the day - stop holding back cos you don’t like going to the toilet 😆 💧 Sparkling/fizzy water can help curb hunger. ⛔️ Avoid taking #appetite suppressants - they mess with your hunger levels temporarily, and once you’re off it - you’ll eat yourself back to your original weight (because you never learned how to embrace your hunger). ⚠️ Some lifestyle choices that can wreck havoc with your hunger include a lack of sleep and #stress. Get adequate sleep, take the effort to deal with your stress, and often, your hunger cravings go away. You got this!
