Update: ❤️ Thank you for helping Sylvia! If you can recall, five-month-old Sylvia was rescued from a hoarding situation with dozens of other cats. This poor girl had tapeworms, roundworms, and ear mites. To make matters worse, her eyes were painfully irritated from ulcers on her corneas, as well as many other issues that were causing severe damage to her eyes. Despite extended efforts to treat the ulcers in both eyes, they were sadly not healing as they should be as the damage was too severe. She had the right eye, the worst, removed first. Once she had time to heal and adjust, vets went ahead and removed the left eye. The amazing news is that she went to a home with an old friend, another young cat named Klaus, from the same hoarding property! In the shelter they would play hide and seek before Klaus was adopted, and now they get to share a wonderful new furever home together. She quickly adapted to the complete loss of vision. Her other senses have really taken up the slack. Her new family say she has no problem getting around the apartment, up on the bed, couch, etc. The two are indoor cats but do have a little catio they can go into as well. After a young life full of pain, this little cutie has a life full of love to now look (or perhaps listen) forward to.
