रात रूठ गयी है,वह धीरे धीरे अधिक भयावह होती जा रही है। हृदय की धड़कन,तीन बजाती घड़ी और बाहर विचरते जिंगुर मिलकर ऐसे तल्ख़ स्वर पैदा कर रहे कि कानों के पर्दे सलामत बचने की कोई गुंजाइश नही दिखती। मग़र वो शोर भी अब विचलित नही कर पा रहा। आन्तरिक शोर के सामने इस बाहरी शोर की बिसात ही क्या है। दिमाग में विचार पनपते रहने चाहिए मग़र ऐसा लग रहा मेरे दिमाग में विचार सिर्फ़ एक दूसरे से उलझने के लिए पनप रहे है। दिमाग में इतना लोचा ना होता तो दो पहर की नींद पूरी भी हो चुकी होती। खिड़की से झाँकने पर दो प्रकाशमयी वस्तुएँ नज़र आती है। कुछ रोशनी उस अधूरे चाँद से आ रही कुछ स्ट्रीट लाइट के नाम पर सामने की सड़क पर लगे छोटे से बल्ब से। चाँद निहारने का मन नही करता मुझे।चाँद में किसीका अक्स भी नही दिखता सिर्फ़ उसके काले गड्ढे दिखते है। रात गहराने के साथ चाँद और भद्दा लगने लगता है। इसलिए मैंने चाँद तकना ही छोड़ दिया है। मैं देखती हूँ उस बल्ब को।वो जलता बुझता बल्ब। उसे देखते देखते मेरा दिमाग कुछ वक्त के लिए सुन्न पड जाता है।कोई लल्लू पल्लू विचार भी नही भटकता दिमाग में कुछ पल को। बाहरी शोर सुनाई नही देता पर आंतरिक शोर कुछ और ऊँचे स्वर में कान फाड़ता है। वो बल्ब मुझे अपने जैसा ही लगता है, अकेला। जलते रहने की जद्दोजहद करते हुए।कब बुझे,कोई भरोसा नही। कुछ भी हो, वो जलना नही छोड़ रहा। बुझता है,फिर जलता है। हर 4 सेकंड बाद अपने चारों ओर प्रकाश फैलाने की पूरी पूरी कोशिश करता है। वो जानता है उसने काम करना बंद कर दिया तो अगली सुबह खंभे से उतार कर फेंक दिया जाएगा। मैं भी तो वही कर रही हूँ। अपने अस्तित्व को बचाने की कोशिश। मैं खुद को मिटते हुए नही देखना चाहती। हर कोशिश करी जा रही है खुद को खुद बनाये रखने की। मुझे डर है इस बार मैं बुझ गई तो वापस जल पाऊँगी या नही। क्या होगा अगर मैं मेरा और मुझसे जुड़े लोगों का नाम रोशन नही कर पाई तो? अग़र मैं अस्तित्वहीन हो गयी तो क्या मैं भी पड़ी मिलूँगी किसी कूड़े के ढ़ेर में? रात अब ज़्यादा डरावनी लग रही है। बल्ब की रोशनी आँखों को चुभ रही है। आँखों के सामने अँधेरा छाने लगा है। @chahak_bala #poetry #love #writersofinstagram #quotes #writer #quote #wordporn #lovequotes #quoteoftheday #poetrycommunity #writersofig #writing #thoughts #poem #shayari #poet #poems #inspirationalquotes #poetsofinstagram #writersofindia #instagram #life #quotestagram #stories #writerscommunity #wordsofwisdom #follow #hindi #instawriters #wordsofwisdom - @chahak_bala on Instagram

I look up to the creases of crumbled paper notes The bits of torn sticky notes The dandelions or the snowflakes The drooling smell of the baking cakes The slow soothing melody or the rock beat The valour or defeat The oomph of teenage The boomerang of child in old age The history, the past The world so vast But all I could see is this paper with words obscurely crossed And the sun dried rivers of ink I battle again with my neurons To jot the the ballad I could hear is the wail reverberating Through each nook of my blank vault.
