RishikeshBharat Mandir (Temple) is the most ancient, most sacred, most famous temple in Rishikesh. Temple is located in the heart of the city (middle of the city). Jagadguru Adi Shankaracharya reinstalled the presiding deity in the temple on the day of Basant Panchmi in 789 A.D. On this day every year the Shaligram is taken for a holy bath in the scared Mayakund and then carried in a grand procession through the city to be taken back to the temple for the symbolic reinstallation. It is also believed that if any pilgrim on the day of Akshya Tritiya takes 108 parikarmas (rounds) of Lord Shri Hrishikesh Naranyan at this temple and seeks the blessing at his feet (it is only day when Lords feet are uncovered), all his wishes are full filled and it is equivalent to the pilgrimage to Badrinath.The temple is mentioned in Vishnu Puran, Shrimadbhagwat, Mahabharat, Vaman Puran and Narsingh Puran. Lord Hrishikesh known as Shri Bharatji Maharaj is different from Lord Ramas younger brother Bharat. He is known by the name of Bharat because he is the incarnation of Lord Vishnu in Kaliyuga, the preserving force holding Shankh, Chakra, Gada and Padam in his four hands. It is said that the five Pandavas along with Draupadi visited here on their way to heaven. Having stayed here for some period and performed worship of Lord Hirishikesh Narayan.It is sait thet the main temple is named after the Bharat Ram’s brother who meditated here at the time of the Tretayug along wth his other brothers. There is in fact a belief that in the kalyug, Vishnu will be worshipped as Bharat. The other temples in the vicinity are dedicated to Rama or Raghunath Lakshmana and Shatrughana.The four armed idol of Lord Hrishikesh Narayan in the temple signifies that the sage Raibhya conquered over the senses and attained Lord Vishnu. - @rishikeshexperts on Instagram

Guruvayur Heaven on Earth GURUVAYUR is considered to be the Bhooloka Vaikunda (the heaven on earth). The idol of Sri Guruvayurappan was once worshipped by Sri. Mahavishnu in Vaikunda, who handed it over to Brahma. From Brahma it passed through the sacred hands of Sutapas, Kashyapa and Vasudeva and finally to Lord Krishna himself. पद्मिनी एकादशी एकादशी का व्रत सभी व्रतों में श्रेष्ठ माना गया है Padmini Ekadashi 2020: हिंदू पंचांग के अनुसार, अधिक मास की शुक्ल पक्ष तिथि को यानी रविवार, 27 सितंबर को पद्मिनी एकादशी का व्रत रखा जाएगा. एकादशी का व्रत सभी व्रतों में श्रेष्ठ है. भगवान विष्णु (Lord vishnu puja) को समर्पित अधिक मामस में तो इस व्रत का महत्व और भी ज्यादा होता है. इस दिन व्रत रखने से भगवान विष्णु आपकी हर मनोकामनाएं पूर्ण करते हैं. कब है पद्मिनी एकादशी? हिंदू पंचांग के अनुसार, 26 सितंबर 2020 को शाम 6 बजकर 59 मिनट पर दशमी तिथि का समापन हो जाएगा और इसके ठीक बाद एकदाशी का शुभारंभ हो जाएगा. मान्यता कि जिस दिन से एकादशी तिथि का आरंभ होता है उसी दिन से इस व्रत की पूजा आरंभ हो जाती है. पद्मिनी एकादशी का व्रत रविवार, 27 सितंबर को ही रखा जाएगा. व्रत की पूजा विधि पद्मिनी एकादशी व्रत के दिन सुबह जल्दी स्नान करें और पूजा स्थल पर बैठकर व्रत का संकल्प लें. इसके बाद पूजन कार्य आरंभ करें. इस दिन विष्णु पुराण पढ़ें या सुनें. इस व्रत में रात के वक्त भी भगवान विष्णु की पूजा की जाती है. इसलिए रात्रि में भजन और कीर्तन करना चाहिए. व्रत की हर पहर में पूजा का विधान है. एकादशी व्रत में पारण भी पूरे विधि-विधान के साथ करना जरूरी, तभी इसका फल प्राप्त होता है. पद्मिनी एकादशी शुभ मुहूर्त एकादशी तिथि प्रारम्भ: रविवार, 26 सितंबर शाम 07.00 बजे एकादशी तिथि पारण: सोमवार, 27 सितंबर शाम 07 बजकर 46 मिनट. . Modi and Kejriwal government, stop planning the demolition NOW! कोविड के रिकॉर्ड मामलों के बीचोंबीच हमारा सुप्रीम कोर्ट पिछले दिनों ये फैसला देता है कि दिल्ली में रेलवे किनारे की हजारों झुग्गियों को 3 महीने में उजाड़ दिया जाय . जहाँ दुनिया के अन्य मुल्क कोविड और अर्थव्यवथा को सम्हालने में लगे हैं वहां हमारा मुल्क लाखों लोंगों को उजाड़ने में लगेगा . यूँ ही नहीं हम नंबर वन होने वाले हैं इस महामारी में . कुछ तो खास बात है हमारी सरकार में . गौर करने वाली बात है कि रेल मंत्रालय इस फैसले की पृष्ठभूमि कोर्ट में तैयार करता है और अरुण मिश्रा की बेंच अपने रिटायरमेंट के दिन, यकायक दिल्ली शहर में प्रदूषण के लिए इन गरीब बस्तियों को जिम्मेदार ठहराते हुए यह शॉकिंग फैसला सुनाती है , वो भी ऐसे समय मे . इतना ही नही ये बेंच ये भी कहती है कि इसपर अब कोई रोक किसी भी कोर्ट से नही की जा सकती और पहले के सारे स्टे को भी रद्द कर देती है . यह प्राकृतिक न्याय के अधिकार का भी उल्लंघन है. ये फैसला इन झुग्गियों में रह रहे लाखों लोंगों की जिंदगी से क्रूर खिलवाड़ ही नही बल्कि संविधान के आर्टिकल 21 के तहत दिये गए जीवन व आश्रय के मूलभूत नागरिक अधिकार का भी खुल्लमखुल्ला उल्लंघन है . लेकिन हमारी व्यवस्था झुग्गी निवासियों को नागरिक समझे तब न उसके अधिकार के बारे में सोचेगी ? दरअसल ये पूरा फैसला एक गरीब विरोधी वर्गीय सोच से भरा हुआ है . केंद्र सरकार और रेल मंत्रालय को तुरन्त इस विस्थापन को रोकने के लिए जरूरी कदम उठाने होंगे . दिल्ली सरकार को भी आज इन झुग्गी निवासियों के साथ मजबूती से खड़ा होना होगा . हम और आप तो हर हाल में खड़े हों इन शहरी गरीबों के साथ और समुचित पुनर्वास के बगैर झुग्गियों को उजाड़े जाने की किसी भी कोशिश का विरोध करें . ये बात उठानी जरूरी है आज कि इस दिल्ली पर जितना हक़ किसी का भी है उतना ही इन गरीबों - मजदूरों का भी है . इस शहर को बनाने और चलाने में इनका योगदान किसी से भी ज्यादा ही है . This painting is very close to my heart as I was with this painting for 4 to 5 hours everyday for 21 days The hindu god KRISHNA JI is the main focus of this painting. In the painting little krishna or kanha is surrounded by a lot of Gopis (Milkmaids) because of his charm and cuteness. In this phase of Lord Krishnas life he was very mischievous and full of spirit , All the incidents are narrated in Bhagvat Gita. In the border of painting you can see gopis dancing in order to entertain little krishna and cheer him.Also you can see peacocks with their wings open because when Kanha plays flute the aura of the listeners become so positive and they start enjoying it. Moreover it is said that peacocks open their wings in monsoon and enjoy the season which is compared to the vibes when Mor Mukhut Bansuri waala ( Krishna ji) plays bansuri (flute) . Adhik maas” means ( adhika= extra, masa= month) its an extra month in the hindu calendar that is inserted to keep the lunar and solar calendars aligned. It also known as “PURUSHOTTAM MAAS”. A Complete Revolution Of Moon To Earth Is Called Lunar Month. This Revolution Starts From Point Of New Moon. Therefore New Moon To Just Before Next New Moon Is Lunar Month. The Moon takes about 27.3 DAYS to make one complete orbit around the earth. The earth orbits around the sun once every 365.2422 DAYS. The earth and the moon in 27.3 days have moved as a system about 1/12 of the way around the sun. This means that from one full moon to the next full moon, the moon must travel 2.2 EXTRA DAYS before it appears again as a full moon, due to the curve of the earths orbit around the sun. Ultimately this creates a variance of 10.87 DAYS a year between a lunar year and a solar year.
