/Twinksfly/ • The inspiration for this piece came from The Black Widow written by @twinksfly !!! Each stanza was written in a blackout-type style, with most words corresponding with each slide of her original poem. Additionally, the second line in each stanza becomes the opening line in the stanza that follows... (I dont know if this qualifies as a form, but in the technacalities of poetry, it has to mean something!!🤷🏻‍♀️😂 If you know what, please tell me!!) I took poetic liberties by including additional words for the purpose of flow and to maintain the rhyme scheme within the poem. • I wrote this piece in honor of the beautiful soul & @poetrybattles curator, @twinksfly & in celebration of her birthday!!!🎈🎁🎉 I am blessed to know her and grateful to be able to call her my friend!
