Just attended a pretty powerful Sound Healing ceremony blending in cacao, hape & other jungle medicines for each of the 3 gates with yogic invocations, Crystal bowls, hang drum, traditional icaros, mantras and so much more. No, it probably wasnt very traditional but thats exactly what I appreciate & am most interested in investigating while here in Guatemala. The New Spirituality arising which recognizes the Golden Thread that runs through all traditions and allows the freedom to playfully create a connection to the Divine that is most fit for our time, place and personalities utilizing the plethora of technologies & practices that we now have at our finger tips for the first time. We honor the wisdom of tradition yet are not dogmatic, seeking to understand the purpose behind each tradition, technique, or practice and synergistically integrate it into our daily lives in a meaningful way with the goal to simply raise our level of awareness to be the most loving & wise version of ourselves in order to serve & heal others and a world that badly needs it.
