: कुश्ती एक ऐसा खेल है जिसके जन्मदाता जाट है। कुश्ती कह लो ,या पहलवानी या मल्ल विद्या जिस्मानी ताकत का खेल हैं। कुश्ती के जन्मदाता जाटों को माना जाता है। भारत वर्ष में प्राचीन समय से लेकर वर्तमान तक के कुश्ती के इतिहास की बात करे तो 99% पहलवान जाट जाति से है। शोधकर्ताओं का तो यहां तक मानना है कि जाट जाति का डीएनए ही ऐसा है कि जाट पहलवानों से अच्छे विश्व मे किसी अन्य जाति के पहलवान नही होते हैं।जाटों के गांवों में कुश्ती के अखाड़े मिलना और छोटी उम्र से लेकर युवा बुजुर्ग जाटों द्वारा अखाड़ो में पसीना बहाकर दांव पेंच सीखना एक जाट की आम दिनचर्या का हिस्सा हैं जाट जब ईरान होते हुए यूरोप पहुँचे तो यह कुश्ती यूरोप पहुँची लेकिन यूरोप पहुचते पहुँचते कुश्ती आधी रह गई यानी यूरोप में कुश्ती में टांगो का इस्तेमाल नही होता है यह कुश्ती ग्रीक रोमन कहलाती है। कुश्ती से कब्बडी का जन्म हुआ है कुश्ती के रोचक बातें कुश्ती की सबसे बड़ी प्राचीन उपाधि रुस्तमे ए हिन्द भी एक जाट पहलवान रुस्तम सिंग के नाम पर दी जाति है कुश्ती की दूसरी सबसे बड़ी उपाधि केसरी भी जाट पहलवान केसर सिंह के नाम से दी जाती है भारत के अन्तराष्ट्रीय पहलवानों 95% अकेले जाट जाति से है। ओलंपिक में भारत का पहला कुश्ती में रजत पदक भी जाट पहलवान सुशील कुमार ने जीता है। ओलंपिक में कुश्ती के आधे से ज्यादा मैडल जाट ही लाए हैं भविष्य में भी गोल्ड मैडल जाट पहलवान ही लेकर आएंगे भारत की तरफ से ओलंपिक में दो मैडल जितने वाले भी जाट पहलवान सुशील कुमार है। विश्व प्रसिद्ध जाट पहलवान महाबली दारा सिंह जिन्होंने 500 से अधिक प्रतियोगिता में से एक भी नही हारी थी भारत का एक मात्र पहलवानों का गांव मलकपुर है जिसके 3 पहलवान सुभाष तोमर,शोकिन्द्र तोमर,राजीव तोमर अर्जुन अवार्ड विजेता है। मलकपुर में 400 से अधिक पहलवान है। यदि अर्जुन अवार्ड की बात की जाए तो 1961 से 2019 तक कुल 56 पहलवानों को कुश्ती में अर्जुन अवार्ड मिले हैं जिनमे से 46 अर्जुन अवार्ड जाटों को मिले हैं। जो कुल अवार्ड का 82% है यदि 2012 से 2019 तक के कुश्ती अर्जुन अवार्ड की बात करे तो कुल 15 अर्जुन अवार्ड मिले हैं जो 15 के 15 जाटों को मिले हैं यानी 100% इसका मतलब जाटों जैसा पहलवान पूरे विश्व मे नही है कुश्ती का पहला अर्जुन अवार्ड 1961 में जाट पहलवान सूबेदार उदय सिंह को मिला है महिला पहलवानों में पहला कुश्ती का अर्जुन अवार्ड गीतिका जाखड़ को मिला है। ओलम्पिक में कुश्ती में पदक जीतने वाली पहली महिला पहलवान साक्षी मलिक जाट है। #jaat #wrestling #jatt #choudhary #singh #jat - @jat_history_and_virasat on Instagram
