✨I spent some time over the last week catering to the *literal* wounds of the ones I love the most. It was a whirlwind week, a time when every best laid plan was reimagined. I had to get flexible with my moon circle, I had to get creative with preparation for my autumn equinox retreat, I had to cancel and rework some other commitments in order to be able to show up for my people. As a Capricorn rising, it was a test of my productivity in chaos, but it was also an example of my steadfast reliability and ability to show up when I’m needed by who needs me most. A lot of tests have come up for me lately around substitution, duplication, replication, etc. and if I’ve learned anything it is this—I am absolutely 100% not substitutable at the time & in the spaces I am needed. My gifts, my talents, my work, my love, my healing, my magic, my connection, my community, my integrity, my hugs: none of them are replaceable. Life has been full of experiences that have made me feel like I don’t matter. Like it is easy to pull me away & put in a stunt double & everything will work out fine. Hint: it never works out fine. Places where I fit & belong are never made whole by another. And vice versa. Places I don’t fit I will never fit, no matter how I try to squeeze into them. I have tried to fit into many many spaces that were much too small for me. I have been forced into uncomfortable situations where I have had to level up because the spot for me didn’t exist yet. And it can be hard being someone who paves a road that didn’t exist before, but the gift is being able to see the beauty beyond instead of a back in front of me. It has always always always worked out even when I can’t initially see the beauty in it. You are not replaceable. None of us are. Someone else can do it. Yes. We are impermanent, yes. Time is fleeting, yes. But your magic was only brought here once. It is meant for a particular moment & perhaps particular people, no one else has it. So spread it like confetti in the spaces it’s appreciated & honored. Own it. Embrace it. Let it shine. Others may want your light but they have their own, and can never ever take your essence.✨ - @moonandmyrrh on Instagram
