UNA RUCA DE HACE 600 AÑOS Y ARQUEOLOGÍA DE LAS CASAS. Nuestras casas🏘️(un lugar en el que hemos estado mucho éstos últimos meses) a partir de la configuración de su espacio (cómo se distribuye) y los materiales empleados para su construcción nos puede decir mucho sobre el tipo de sociedad en la que vivimos y el rol que nosotr@s tenemos dentro de esa sociedad. También nos dice mucho de la relación que tenemos con nuestro medio ambiente: un iglú por ej tiene una lógica en el polo norte🌨️ pero en el norte de chile🏜️ sería algo súper inviable. O en el sur muchas casas son de madera ya que este recurso abunda🏞️ y su diseño está pensado para resistir las lluvias🌧️ Todos los objetos que fabricamos y cómo se integran entre si tienen una lógica en nuestra sociedad. Es por lo anterior que para la arqueología estudiar casas (que nosotr@s llamamos también contextos doméstico o habitacionales) nos da valiosa información para saber sobre las formas de vidas del pasado y qué tradiciones en estos modos de habitar o vivir se han mantenido hasta hoy en día y que cosas han cambiado a lo largo del tiempo en relación a diversos procesos sociales y acontecimientos históricos. En las fotos se muestra la planta de una ruca de hace unos 600 años atrás que se logró identificar gracias a excavaciones arqueológicas a cargo del arqueólogo Rodrigo Mera (gracias por las fotos😍). Asociados a ésta se encontraron restos de fogones🔥, improntas de postes, cuentas de collar, semillas, pesas para red de pesca🐟, fragmentos de cerámica; distintos materiales que al asociarlos (o juntarlos cómo un puzzle) nos permite saber aspectos de la sociedad mapuche antes de la llegada del Español. Joel Maripil, dedicado a transmitir y continuar con diversas tradiciones de su cultura dice que hay rucas de diversos tamaños, algunas hasta con 5 fogones, donde se hacen también reuniones o encuentros (cahuines). La ruca de su abuelo estuvo en pie cómo 100 años. Se fabrican con diversos materiales locales como madera y paja ratonera. Lo anterior coincide con relatos de cronistas y viajeros del pasado. Before & After: The Ludendorff Bridge at Remagen was in early March 1945 one of two remaining bridges across the River Rhine in Germany when it was captured by United States Army forces. After 10 days it collapsed into the river but by then a sizable bridgehead had been established on the eastern bank of the Rhine. * The Battle of Remagen during the Allied invasion of Germany resulted in the unexpected capture of the Ludendorff Bridgeover the Rhine and likely shortened World War II in Europe. After capturing the Siegfried Line, the 9th Armored Division of the U.S. First Army had advanced unexpectedly quickly towards the Rhine. They were very surprised to see one of the last bridges across the Rhine still standing.The Germans had wired the bridge with about 2,800 kilograms (6,200 lb) of demolition charges. When they tried to blow it up, only a portion of the explosives detonated. U.S. forces captured the bridge and rapidly expanded their first bridgehead across the Rhine, two weeks before Field Marshal Bernard Montgomerys meticulously planned Operation Plunder. States of India: Himachal Pradesh Topic: The Nurpur Fort The Nurpur fort, of which the massive ruins may still be seen, stands on a plateau (2125 feet) to the south-west of the town and had deep ravines on three sides. The main entrance was from the north side. Formerly known as the Dhameri Fort, the massive Nurpur Fort was constructed by Raja Basu, the ruler of Pathankot, in the late 16th century. It is known for its impressive architectural designs, particularly the walls that have deeply carved panels depicting figures of birds, animals, men, women, children, kings, gods, and goddesses. Tourists can also pay respects at the Brij Raj Swami Temple, located within the premises. A special feature of this site is that here the idols of both Lord Krishna and Meera Bai are worshipped together. The Nurpur Fort retains its charm with its expansive precinct, archeological ruins, ponds, and a 400-year-old maulshri tree. The fort has been named in honour of Mughal empress Nur Jahan, who is believed to have taken a fancy to the beautiful valley of Nurpur. The fort was destroyed by the British and then by an earthquake in 1905. The temple inside the fort called Brij Raj Swami was built in the 16th century and is known to be one of the only places where both the idols of Lord Krishna and Meera Bai are worshiped. Talking about this city, before 1947, it was considered as a princely state and was ruled by the Pathania clan of Rajputs. It is said that this Pathania Clan had ruled for more than eight centuries in the same region. An RNLI lifeboat was based in Polpeor Cove until 1961 when it was relocated to nearby Kilcobben Cove, which was better suited to the newer, faster boats brought in by the RNLI. The climb maybe tough ..but the view from the top is always better. 🙌 Exploring Sinhagad Fort was truly a wonderful experience. For those who dont know.. Sinhagad fort around 25kms away from Pune city, Maharashtra. It was built probably 2000 years ago. The fort is a popular trekking destination. And the view from the top is just incredible. The fresh air filled my lungs making me feel refreshed and exhilarated. The city felt so small from top. All the tall buildings seemed to just look like toys from Lego. Similar to our daily life situations.. we dont really see the view from the other side and make a decision based on one side of the part that is heard or seen. El castillo viejo de @ayto_manzanares_real está rodeado de un halo de misterio, su fecha de construcción o su promotor son desconocidos. Un proyecto de arqueología social se ha propuesto conocer más sobre esta enigmática fortaleza. 👉Sobre un altozano que domina La Pedriza, el curso del río Manzanares y la Cañada Real Segoviana, se encuentran los restos del castillo viejo, del que se conservan sus muros hasta una altura de tres metros aproximadamente. 🏗De planta rectangular y construido con mampostería de granito y encintados de ladrillo, posee tres torres cilíndricas, además de la torre del homenaje, que tiene planta cuadrada y casi 14m de lado. माणिकदुर्ग - चिपळूण तालुक्यातील मांडकी गावाच्या मागील डोंगरावर असलेला माणिकदूर्ग लोकांच्या विस्मृतीत गेला होता. पुण्याचे इतिहास संशोधक सचिन जोशी यांनी केलेल्या संशोधनामुळे हा गड प्रकाशात आला. प्राचिन काळी पालशेत बंदरात उतरलेला माल घाटमार्गांनी कर्हाडच्या बाजारपेठेत जात असे. या घाटमार्गावर लक्ष ठेवण्यासाठी माणिकदूर्गाची योजना करण्यात आली होती. माणिकगडाला दुर्गेचा डोंगर या नावानेही ओळखले जाते. विजयनगर साम्राज्यात माणिकदूर्ग किल्ला होता. पवार नामक व्यक्तीच्या ताब्यात हा किल्ला होता. पालशेत बंदरात उतरलेला माल विविध घाटमार्गाने कर्हाडच्या बाजारपेठेत जात असे. या मार्गावर लक्ष ठेवण्यासाठी नवतेदूर्ग, कासारदूर्ग, माणिकदूर्ग, भैरवगड इ. किल्ल्यांची मालिका होती. आदिलशहाने विजयनगरचे साम्राज्य जिंकल्यावर हे किल्ले त्याच्या ताब्यात गेले. हे किल्ले त्याने पाडले; यामुळे आज हे किल्ले इतिहासात जमा झाले आहेत. मांडकी गावामागील गर्द झाडी असलेल्या डोंगरावर माणिकदूर्गचे अवशेष विखुरलेले आहेत. किल्ल्यात प्रवेश केल्यावर उजवीकडे गेल्यावर किल्ल्याच्या टोकावर सुकाई देवीचे मंदिर आहे. या मंदिराकडे जाताना ठिकठिकाणी झाडांच्या बुंध्यात अडकलेले व गवतात लपलेले किल्ल्याच्या तटबंदीचे अवशेष दिसतात. सुकाई देवी मंदिराच्या मागिल बाजूस एक गोलाकार उंचवटा दिसतो. तेथे गाडला गेलेला बुरुज असण्याची शक्यता आहे. या बुरुजाला वळसा घालून किल्ला उजवीकडे ठेवत अवघड वाटेने काही अंतर गेल्यावर ५ लेणी पाहायला मिळतात. तिथून परत किल्ल्यात प्रवेश केला त्या ठिकाणी येऊन डावीकडे गेल्यावर (किल्ल्यावरील सुकाई देवीचे मंदिराच्या विरूध्द बाजूच्या) टोकावर पाण्याची २ टाक आहेत. त्यापैकी एका टाक्यावर यक्ष प्रतिमा कोरलेल्या आहेत. याशिवाय गडावरच्या गर्द झाडीत विविध प्रकारचे पक्षी व फुलपाखर पाहायला मिळतात. #gadvaari #raigadfort #shivnerifort #monsoontreks #lovetrekking #trekdiaries #trekwomen #trekkers #kothaligad #trekkingfamily #mahulifort #kalsubai #kalavantinfort #petervangeit #maharashtra_trekking_memes #sahyadri_kille_official #laibharimanus #dongaryatra_official #dongaryatra #maharashtra_desha #jiddimaratha #trekkinglife #gadvedetrekkers #gadvede #jkv #_the_great_maratha_96_k #trekkingntravelling #trekking.lover #nustabhatkantii_ #maharashtra_forts - @gadvaari on Instagram
