- Relearning to knit. I took two classes with my mom before she died and never picked it back up. Fast forward 13 years and I am dealing with leukemia and figured it was a good time to try it again. It’s been such a comfort.

- It took 5 weeks, but I’ve finished the Stephen West Jigshawl pattern and it was a great intro into shawl knitting. Through this project, I marled yarn together, I was able to knit pieces together and I learned an I-cord bind off. Overall, pretty happy, even if it’s a bit lopsided. Knitting rules!
