Podcasts are like dreams. - When I listen to a good one I feel like time and space are dilated, and afterward I often have the impression of having lived a lifetime and traveled in far away places. - It is like watching a film, except the action is not taking place on the screen but in your ears, and thus closer to your subconscious and imagination. A mental landscape shaped by sound. - Instead of images and scenes, a mix develops its storyboard by putting together a selection of tracks. It is all about assembling the emotions contained in each one and ordering them with a natural progression. - In my last mix for @arcadiasounds (link in bio), I found inspiration in a story that I have lived recently. It was short in time but beautiful, going through a wide range of emotions, from the most simple and light ones to deeper and more obscure ones. By choosing how I wanted to end this set, I also chose the end of my personal story. - Because music has no face, I hope that the story told inside this podcast will resonate with the personal experience of anyone listening. 📷 @lifestreamsample - @oscar_faivre on Instagram

Two photos taken in Melbournes Chinatown before Covid came and ruined all of our fun. 💖💖 ps. everyone who reshares this post im gonna leave some feedback for on their profiles :) If im being honest and im sure lots of other creatives on this account can agree that covid had a massive impact on my ability as a photographer and I feel like going out to shoot has been more difficult since the virus. But I guess everyones going through it too so you cant really complain. ANYWAY As you can see in these photos the before and after shots are quite different because of the way that I edited them in the lightroom. Ive been using this technique recently where I turn down the dehaze slider and it gives this really glowy and dreamy effect especially with sunset shots like this.
