So the rational question here by anyone would be why are we on lockdown? Why are we being told to cover our faces with any type of material to provide “safety”. Why are we being told to stand 6ft apart as if this suppose virus couldn’t travel? Why are we wearing masks to enter a restaurant only to take them off seconds later and why is it the people handling the money are also the ones sitting people and sometimes even serving? Does is not feel like we are living in some kind of twilight zone. And another and even more important question to ask is why are the people who in assistance living conditions the ones who are dying the most? Are they not being taken care of? Do they not get the right foods? Are they taking so many prescriptions that they no longer have a functional immune system? How many hours a day to they get to go outside and connect with the sun and stretch? Maybe now people will realize that these government funded or government regulated housing homes just do enough to keep the old alive but continue to funnel money out of them. The Caterpillar engine fired up with a nice rumble. Everything began whirring to life within the vehicle. After a few seconds of hissing, an alarm buzzed, followed by a computerized female voice Air Quality Pure. I was relieved to take off my gas mask, and slip the NBC suit off down to my waist. Everybody else did the same. I stowed my weapons to the side, and kicked my legs out. This had only been our third trip to the surface, and it was pretty successful trip. We had never ventured out 70 klicks from Cheyenne Mountain before. We did good work today guys, even if we did not get the supplies. I declared. Delta nodded. Most definitely, any days a good day that were out of that concrete tomb. From the front passenger seat Echo began laughing Yeah, but that concrete tomb has showers! Мечта отремонтировать ее и отправиться в кругосветку начала обретать свои очертания. ⠀ Пытался еще перевести ее во Владивосток в начале лета, но яхта оказалась негабаритным грузом (а по форпосту подобные первозки переваливают за сотку и выше). Лето прошло. ⠀ Недели две назад, благодаря поиском через @blog_vladivostok нашел ребят, которые согласились перевезти достаточно бюджетно для такого груза и расстояния. ⠀ Отдал все свои деньги, до последнего за перевозку - 70 000 руб. ⠀ От Находки до Владивостока 54 000 трал+кран А так, как трал не проходил по дворам, пришлось и здесь заказывать кран и еще одну машину (20 000) ⠀ Если бы еще чуть чуть протянул по времени, то и от мечты бы пришлось отказаться. #Repost @scramble_nl ・・・ New Singapore Chinooks in Australia The Australian Ministry of Defense has confirmed the Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) will increase the number of CH-47F Chinooks based at the Army Aviation Training Centre at Oakey (Australia). This move is part of a bilateral agreement between Australia and Singapore. It is reported that ten newly built CH-47Fs, part of an unannounced Singaporean order for sixteen helicopters signed in November 2016, will be based at Oakey. The first of the new helicopters are expected to arrive in the first quarter of 2021, by shipment from the US directly to Singapore. Five RSAF CH-47D Chinooks have been based at Oakey under the Oakey Agreement between the two countries since 2018. It allows up to sixteen helicopters to be based in Australia for pilot training at any given time. The agreement was signed in October 1996 and included provision for up to twelve Airbus Helicopters AS332M/M1 Super Pumas to be relocated from Singapore to the Army Aviation facility at Oakey, with an option to include Chinook helicopters at a later date. The Oakey Agreement came into effect with the arrival of the first helicopters in September 1998. The Super Pumas have since returned to the island nation, replaced by the five CH-47Ds. It is not yet clear what will happen to the five heavylift Chinooks currently at Oakey once the new helicopters are delivered. The RSAF currently has sixteen CH-47SD Chinook transport helicopters in its inventory. The Chinooks are operated by 127 Squadron at Sembawang (Singapore), with the mentioned detachment of five Chinooks at Oakey (Queensland, Australia) for training.
