Cause you know, karma....I cannot tell you how angry, disappointed and sad I feel! As most of you saw my post on Saturday that a group of us, 15 volunteers cleaned up a park, 35 bags of litter. It was arranged with the council like on other previous occasions that the litter will be collected on Monday morning. We never had an issue. Then the above happened... some low life scum decided its great fun to set fire to some of the litter we collected. Why?! Why on earth would you do that?! Im lost for words.... some people give up their very little free time to do something good for our planet. We are volunteers, we dont get a penny for litter picking, we do this to make our planet a bit nicer and cleaner. I am a member of StopPlasticstoronto but I also belong to a local walking group so I decided to incorporate the two! When walking in local parks and ravines I carry my grabbers and a bag and cleanup what I can. This mess was the result of only four walks and I could have picked up much, much more but my bag filled quickly. And then it hit me...I cannot take responsibility for all of this plastic waste. Um acidente envolvendo uma moto e um caminhão deixou três pessoas feridas na rodovia Anchieta na altura de Cubatão (SP), na manhã desta sexta-feira (18). Segundo apurado pelo G1 junto à Ecovias, concessionária que administra o trecho, o acidente aconteceu por volta das 10h30 na rodovia Anchieta, na altura do km 53. Um caminhão, que estava na pista sentido litoral, perdeu o freio no trecho de serra e bateu de frente com a estrutura de uma ponte, atingindo o motociclista que trafegava na mesma direção. O motociclista saiu da colisão com ferimentos leves, enquanto o motorista do caminhão e um passageiro foram socorridos pelo Serviço de Atendimento Móvel de Urgência (Samu) em estado grave e moderado, sendo encaminhados a uma unidade de saúde de Cubatão. Segundo a Ecovias, por volta das 11h30, a faixa da direita ainda estava bloqueada porque os veículos envolvidos no acidente permaneciam no local. Por volta das 12h, o trecho foi liberado. Há congestionamento apenas no planalto, do km 39 ao km 42. O SAI está em Operação Normal (5x5). Para a descida, os motoristas utilizam a pista sul da via Anchieta e pista sul da Imigrantes. Once completed, the project will not just beautify the neighborhood but reduce the heat island effect by removing asphalt, adding native plants, several oxygen producing trees, and irrigation. Mañana queremos hablar con distintas empresas para que nos cedan elementos y aparatos de limpieza y así colaborar los almerienses para tener su ciudad limpia y cuidada ya que parece que nadie lo hace. Esta claro y siempre lo decimos que el ser humano mancha y ensucia mucho, pero por eso hay que tener un equipo de limpieza para dar soluciones a tantos problemas. Aprovechamos para hacer ese llamamiento a ferreterías, viveros, etc etc para que nos donen equipos de limpieza como escobas, bolsas, guantes, recogedores, semillas para plantar plantas y arboles en tantos parques abandonados como el boticario donde posiblemente comenzaremos etc etc ... Sin más muchísimas gracias a todos los que nos habéis aportado ideas, como siempre decimos sois todos bienvenidos y además os esperamos de corazón para que estéis con nosotros codo con codo limpiando la ciudad. - Whenever it rains at my workplace, rain comes through the ceilings in multiple places and all they do is put some barrels to “collect” it. Our main (and only) walkway is slick concrete covered in water and oil spots. You have to strategically step to not slip. No wet floor signs either.

Please dispose of used single-use masks, gloves, wipes and tissues in the garbage and not in your blue box. These items are not recyclable and must be removed by hand from the recyclables. You know, they were not interested in putting any real money or effort into recycling because they wanted to sell virgin material, Thomas says.
