Was on the covers of 8 lug, and truckin magazine. Featured and rebuilt on Texas metal season 1. Dodge bed chopped, stretched, and widened to fit chassis. Chevrolet fenders graphed on bedsides. Grant rollpan. 4 10 Rockford fosgate marine speakers in bed. Spray in bedliner, and tool box mounted in bed. Interior completely redone 2 years ago by Heath Moore at ekstensive. Full fosgate system includes 6 15 subs, 8 61/2 components and 2 5 1/4 components. All powered by 6 fosgate amps. Truck has 2 sun roofs. Custom center console with built in 48 quart ice chest that drains through the floor. Custom b.a.d. steering wheel with train horns. Truck cab has been stretched 2 and reinforced by ekstensive. Upgraded Tahoe door handles were added. Custom running boards from wheel to wheel. Newer Denali headlights are molded into front end . Front bumper has been channeled and new flights are installed. The kodiak is body dropped, with full ekstensive air ride and fully custom suspension, including 4 link and wish bone. Motor has recent injector replacements, and new lift pump. Truck has 2 air tanks and 4 compressors. Over 100k invested on parts and build. - Help! I couldnt think of what to title this post.
When I was 16 I had the choice, fix my moms wrecked suburban and drive it or rely on others in an attempt to save up money/work/etc. so that I could buy my own. Well, this is what I did. It took me 13 years. In between that time, I did many things wrong (including sanding the exterior/interior/engine bay down to metal every summer just to run out of time and go back to school, for 3 years) and then had to fix them all, learning and teaching myself. In those 13 years I probably accumulated 3000 hours of invested time. It was not fun but it gave me the skills I used in other areas of life. Doing everything outside sure does suck, but I learned how to work around the elements which many of you have asked over the years when it comes to painting outside.
