𝕙𝕒𝕤 𝕟𝕠 𝕥𝕖𝕒𝕣𝕤 𝕝𝕖𝕗𝕥 𝕥𝕠 𝕔𝕣𝕪... ─── 𓆈𓆉𓆃𓇼 ─── 𝔻𝕖𝕒𝕣 𝕓𝕖𝕚𝕟𝕘𝕤 𝕠𝕗 𝕄𝕚𝕕𝕕𝕝𝕖-𝕖𝕒𝕣𝕥𝕙: I hereby present you the first work of my new theme, which focuses on underrated, misunderstood or disadvantaged characters as I already announced in the caption of my theme divider. I am grateful for all of your lovely comments on these posts and hope that I can meet your and my own expectations! ─── 𓆈𓆉𓆃𓇼 ─── 𝔽𝕣𝕠𝕕𝕠 𝔹𝕒𝕘𝕘𝕚𝕟𝕤 - 𝕋𝕙𝕖 𝕤𝕖𝕔𝕣𝕖𝕥 𝕙𝕖𝕣𝕠? When I joined this fandom, I was shocked how it can be that one of the main characters and such a kind soul is not liked by many people. The reason for this is probably the fact that Frodo does not destroy the ring in any version of the story, but is overwhelmed by its power at the decisive moment after his long journey to Morder, which - according to many fans - he could never have mastered without Samwise Gamgee. Depending on your view, these things may be true. But some forget to note that Frodo took this burden on himself, which perhaps no one else in Middle-earth could have carried out. He lived a peaceful life in the Shire and all he wanted was to stay there, which makes his story incredibly sad. On his journey he was wounded several times and the ring burdened him more and more the closer he got to Mordor. Furthermore, many declare him stupid because he was the only one who trusted the creature Gollum. In my opinion, this very act of his is worthy of a hero! He felt sorry for Sméagol and hoped he could change him. In the end, the ring did not take his life, as Frodo feared, but he could not live with the never-ending pain... For me, Frodo is a modern hero. Not someone who asks for a fight and seeks adventure, but someone who is faced with fear and self-doubt. Heroism doesnt mean to be perfect.
