Hey fit fam hehe!👑 One of Casey’s teammates recently tested positive and Casey hadn’t been feeling well all day :( so we went and got him tested...TWICE!! AND HE IS NEGATIVE 🙌🏽💛 All i can say is Jesus is watching over us! We have both taken so much precaution as best we can during the pandemic. Wearing masks, sanitizing, no parties and staying home besides church and gym!! I’m glad out hard work to stay safe has paid off! Between us we have been tested 7 times and always negative!!! When the neighborhood kids were selling lemonade and cookies 🍪 , I looked around, and set up a hot dog 🌭 stand. Why? Frank and his construction crew were building a whole row of new houses in the neighborhood. They were hungry. Lemonade wasn’t gonna cut it. So at the age of 12, I launched my first profitable business. Providing a service that solved a problem and was client focused. Instead of thinking about what everyone else was doing. Or worrying about what I WANTED to sell. I looked at - what did my ideal client want and need? How could I help him? Hot dogs, bagged chips, canned soda and those packaged chocolate chip cookies. BINGO 🔥. Frank was happy. So was his Team. So was my piggy bank🐷. After personally building and helping others build 6/7 figure businesses. One of the biggest mistakes I see hard-working and qualified entrepreneurs make is focusing on what they want others to know about them vs. what others need to know about how they serve them. Remember- it’s entrepreneurship. But it’s really humanship. How are you showing up? Are you present? Listening? Creating? Aligning? Focus on service. What problem do you solve? How are you speaking the language of the person you serve.... clearly? If you can solve their problem. AND communicate that effectively in your messaging. Your clients and your piggy bank, will be very happy, too. In time you’ll see 👉client-centered products will scale your business for you and make life-changing transformation for others. BINGOx2🔥. We loved spending our Summer at home exploring our home state of Victoria but if you know us youd be right in thinking we have travel plans sooner rather than later! This Easter we are heading far away over the other side of the world. A 15 hour flight then a 6 hour flight. Today I got a little splash of reality on my #soloadventures. I took a quick day trip to the 📍#AncientCity near Bangkok to bike through the park and see some replicas of the amazing sites and buildings all around the country. 🇹🇭 It was completely empty, I had the entire park to myself as Thailand continues to restrict tourists from entering the country with #covid going on. solo trips. i started planning these a few years back. i was finally ready to give myself the chance to enjoy spending time with ME and stop focusing on the romantic relationship I didn’t have. for those that are thinking about planning a getaway by yourself (whether you’re single or not), I have some thoughts + tips 😋 before leaving, the following will most likely come up: ❕you’ll want to cancel a few days before ❕you’ll be tempted to invite people to join you ❕you might over-plan to busy yourself from you but don’t worry, be with those feelings and they will soon pass. when you get to your destination: ☑️Unpack immediately and change out of your travel clothes and into your vaca clothes...this begins the signaling to your mind to disengage from “real world stuff”. ☑️plan the next morning’s ritual in this new place - a little beginning of day structure is grounding...will you walk down to the beach? Will you meditate on the balcony? Will you sleep in and journal when you wake up? ☑️as you explore, say hello to strangers..because, yes you’re alone, but you’re not really alone. feels so good to genuinely laugh with people you don’t know. finally. i know more than most how tempting it can be to want to document every moment of your solo getaway on instagram. but ive found that the constant connection to my phone and especially to social media creates a leak in my experience. there are eyes on what im doing, which in big and very small ways sabotage my ability to be super present for myself and the sweet moments that makes up this memory. i loved taking pictures and video through my trip but not necessarily posting right away. dm me or comment if you have any other Q’s! When I first started my weight loss journey I was right out of college and Justin and I were newly living together. I wanted so badly for him so be on this journey with me. I wanted him to eat healthy with me, I wanted him to go on nightly runs with me. I wanted him to be my accountability partner. ••• The problem was, Justin didn’t have the same goals as me. He didn’t have 45+ pounds of college weight to loose. He didn’t hate his body when he looked in the mirror. He didn’t feel uncomfortable in his own skin. ••• He was the most supportive he could possibly be but it just wasn’t his journey. ••• I used to get so discouraged. He gets to eat cheese burgers and I’m eating this tiny microwave “healthy meal”. I used to come home from work and beg him to workout with me so I didn’t have to do it alone. If he wasn’t down to workout, then I didn’t do it either. ••• It wasn’t until I found my coach and her accountability group that I realized that there were a lot of other men and women who felt like I did. There are a lot of people who felt like they were alone in their health and fitness journey. That’s when I realized that just because I wasn’t on this journey with Justin, didn’t mean I had to do it alone. ••• That accountability group gave me a sense of community, support, and belonging. They challenged me and encouraged me. They helped me learn and grow. ••• I’m no longer discouraged by eating something different than Justin because I’ve learned how to make meals that work for both of us. I’m not discouraged by working out alone because I’ve learned to use that time just for me. ••• If you’ve been in my position, and you’re tired of feeling like you have to do it alone, I’m here to tell you, you don’t. Your family might not get it. Your friends might not get it. That’s okay. I get it. My tribe gets it and we’re here to help you. If there’s one thing we’re good at, it’s moving together. All you have to do it reach out. Did y’all really think I wouldn’t be extra for my birthday?? 😂 • In all seriousness, I had an amazing weekend surrounded by those I love. I had so much fun this past weekend, it almost felt like things were normal again, almost! I’m ready to take on this year and tackle goals that I’ve been wanting to accomplish for quite some time now. For awhile I dreaded turning 25 because it was just that much closer to 30 (I know, stupid 😂). I would worry about how I haven’t done all that I thought I would by this age, but if the events of this year have taught me anything, it’s that it’s okay to sit back and enjoy life. Just a happy Disney girl, excited to be back at @waltdisneyworld! ✨ • I don’t know about y’all, but we were going through some serious withdrawals! And now that we are back, we couldn’t be happier. We are so incredibly thrilled with how WDW is handling being open during this time. The weekend was naturally busier than this week, but the safety precautions they have set are making us feel great about our decision to visit again. Así comenzamos un fin de semana lleno de aventuras en el mágico mundo de @waltdisneyworld Por nuestros stories les mostraremos todo. Me sorprendió bastante el protocolo que siguen para la seguridad de los visitantes. Hay hand sanitizers por todos lados, stickers en el piso que te marcan la distancia y por supuesto siempre hay que llevar la mascarilla 😷 puesta, al menos que te sientes a comer en los lugares indicados. No hay mucha gente, tienes que hacer la reservación del parque con anticipación y la mejor parte es que el tiempo de espera en las atracciones no pasa de 25-30 minutos. Si vienen a Animal Kingdom 🦒 les recomiendo Pandora, el mundo de Avatar. Nuestro primer viaje juntos. Parte 2. Hoy vamos a contarles sobre nuestras vivencias y recuerdos en Epcot, Animal Kingdom y Hollywood Studios. No como el relato anterior, sino un resumen de cosas aprendidas y una que otra anécdota. 💚Animal Kingdom: el parque favorito de la familia. Ese día, no sé por qué, estábamos hambrientos y descubrimos uno de nuestros restaurantes preferidos: Restaurantosaurus. Las hamburguesas estaban buenísimas!!! Ese día también descubrimos que los mejores safaris se dan desde las 17:30: los animales estaban activos, primera vez que veíamos a los leones y un rinoceronte decidió quedarse frente a nosotros por 15 minutos casi y no podíamos pasar😂 Épico. Por otro lado, Ale se dio cuenta de que odiaba Primeval Whirl (la montaña rusa de feria en Dinoland), con mi familia la adoramos. En fin, fue un día intenso, subimos varias veces al Everest y lloramos con el show Festival of the Lion King. Otro highlight del día fue que Alejandro se enamoró de Pocahontas y, en mi caso, Rafiki me sacó a bailar Y NO ME SOLTABAAAA (miren el video). Qué buen día!!! 🎢Hollywood Studios: la verdad ese día estuvo muy lleno el parque y verán que no tenemos una sola foto... Ale estaba enfermoooo😭😭😭 No disfrutamos mucho. Subimos a todo menos Toy Story Mania (en ese tiempo era la más popular y tenía como 120 minutos de espera). Descubrimos que el show de Indiana Jones no vale la pena y que en Disney hay enfermerías! Fue la primera y última vez que yo (Adri) vi Fantasmic, no conecté para nada porque estaba preocupada por Alejandro. Estuvimos un rato con la prima de Ale, que también fue ese día, y nos regresamos temprano. ¿Ustedes han tenido un mal día en los parques? 🌸Epcot: nuestro primer Flower and Garden Festival🥰 La verdad solo disfrutamos de los topiarios y descubrir rincones del World Showcase jugando con la app de Perry el Ornitorrinco (LO MEJOR QUE HABÍA). En ese tiempo no nos animábamos a gastar en comida. Fue la primera vez que nos subimos a Test Track y nos pareció chévere, pero un poco corto. Soarin’ estuvo maravilloso como siempre. 🎨The Imagine Museum opened in St Pete back in 2016 thanks to founder, philanthropist, artist and business woman, Trish Duggan. “Her goal was to put together a collection of artworks and promote an experience that would inspire, uplift and educate.” ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 🖼 The collection began with only 500 glass works and has since grown to over 1500 pieces representing artists from all over the world. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 👩🏼 With many selfie stations dotted around the space, visitors are encouraged to take pictures and choose their favorite glass works as they explore the museum. my road trip buddy 😘🚗 🌊 call us crazy, but I’m thankful that we both don’t mind being on the road for hours on end 🤪 *obviously not here rn, this is from around this time two years ago 🙊* we returned Tuesday from road-tripping up to Minnesota to see and spend the weekend with Austin’s family. in case you’re curious, that’s 18 hours one-way from home here in Louisiana 😅 what’s your favorite part about road trips? Im not sure if Volcano Bay is the BEST water park Ive ever been to- in my whole life- but Ive also been to a LOT. AND, David did ask me that question, he thinks its better than the Atlantis, which Id probably agree with- but its definitely up there no matter what. We hit 17 slides which was awesome and we couldnt have asked for better weather. Cheers #volcanobay for a great day. THANK goodness this awesome family of 4 told us about this place on the plane ride into Orlando. It ended up being our best day in florida, or at least, thats my perspective. Followed closely by Sea World and Aquatics (a second water park). #disneylandannualpass expires in 12 days. 🥺✨ #Disney has been part of our family before ‘rona. Being both #hoteliers , Cody and I work A LOT. So we took the kids to #Disneyland once a month to spend some quality time with them. It’s usually an exhausting weekend, but so worth it! Our favorite family ride is probably Soaring or Jungle Cruise. Hay’s favorite is the Little Mermaid (usually our first ride!) and Hann’s fave is It’s a Small World (jk!) it’s Splash Mountain. Por eso, y aunque te lo diría por más que no hubiese una pandemia, quiero que vivas intensamente. Que viajes, que callejees, que disfrutes de tus amigos, de tu familia. Que no te de fiaca o pereza ir a ningún lado. Que sigas cultivando el amor y el respeto con tu pareja, porque les tocará estar juntos 24/7 como cuando viajan, pero encerrados. Y que ni se te cruce por la cabeza “para qué traer un niñe a este mundo?“ porque eso te va a salvar. Y no es egoísta, tendrás la misión de educarle, e inculcarle el respeto al mundo, y hacerle consciente de lo frágil que este es y el daño que la humanidad le está haciendo. Nuestra luna de miel en Orlando, parte 1: ¡Disney World! Imagínense que a Disney fuimos la gran cantidad de... un día!!! 😂 Nuestra luna de miel fue de muy bajo presupuesto, la verdad. Así que no nos hospedamos ni en el Gran Floridian ni en un All Star, sino en un hotel de Lake Buena Vista (Extended Stay America, nos salió muy barato). ⭐️Una gran amiga nos regaló la entrada de un día con park hopper. Comenzamos en Magic Kingdom, donde nos subimos por primera vez al People Mover (nos enamoramos), logramos ir a Space Mountain, Pirates of the Caribbean y... nada más. Corrimooooos para Epcot. 💙En Epcot descubrimos lo maravilloso que es ir en plan “cita romántica”. Habíamos visto videos de qué comer en cada pabellón y, claro, ¡nos dedicamos solo a eso! Eating and drinking around the world🤘🏻🥂En serio comimos algo de cada país. Ah, además llovió mucho, y sin querer terminamos en el restaurante de lujo Le Cellier para simplemente comer poutine😂😂Hicimos la fila para Frozen Ever After (era nuevo el juego) y no aguantamos 60 minutos, así que continuamos comiendo en los países y vimos muchos shows. 😎Luego corriiiiimos para Hollywood Studios, llegamos 45 minutos antes del cierre del parque y, para completar el día con adrenalina, subimos a Rock and Roller Coaster y a Tower of Terror. Al bajarnos, estaba el show de fuegos artificiales de Star Wars (del cual también nos enamoramos). 🥰Fue un día ESPECTACULAR (lamentamos no tener más fotos, no encuentro la de Magic😩). ⭐️Mañana les contaremos más!!! LAUGHTER IS SO GOOD FOR THE SOUL! So what do you see? Someone whos super happy? You wouldnt know from this picture that my morning consisted of many tantrums and serious mum guilt. Im so thankful to have been able to turn to my sisters in the Inspire group who I connected with via @a.w.m.b I couldnt see what I was doing wrong and why my eldest was having major meltdowns. The advice I was given was priceless as I was supported and helped through a trying time. Now I laugh through the difficult times and appreciate how good it feels to just be, laugh and nourish my soul.
