I can’t believe it’s August! Wow what a crazy year. The days are blending together and going by slow yet super fast at the same time. And so many emotions. I hope everyone is hanging in there and is staying safe and healthy. I feel like I haven’t seen anyone in ages. I’m missing my friends so much these days. And I miss working. But feeling very grateful for all that I have. I wanted to start posting my work here again. I hadn’t felt like it up until now. I haven’t posted work since May! But I do miss creating so much. I have been lucky enough to be able to work on a few cool (and safe) projects during this time. Which I’ll be able to share with you all very soon! One project in particular is super special to me. I’ve been working on it since last year. For now I wanted to share one of the Polaroids I took of one of my favorite muses @chavisthill . I shot this personal project last year when she was in town. She did her own makeup/hair for this as well and it is amazing. She’s a very kind and special soul. I can’t wait to work with her again. It’s always a dream! Last thing I wanted to say is that I really do appreciate all of you who support me on here and for all the love and kindness you all showed me when Elektra was at the emergency vet. I’m starting my Vipassanā online meditation retreat tomorrow!!!!!!!🧘🏾♂️ vipaśyanā, is Buddhist term that is often translated as insight and “special-seeing” An observation-based, self-exploratory journey that focuses on deep interconnection between the mind and body! I’ll be inputting this into my daily routine and using it as inspiration but also obeying the the precepts and living a strict routine for the next 10 days with no alcohol, sexual activity, caffeine, stealing, lying and killing of any being. Daily mediation with a plant based diet🌱 My main goal is to end the suffering I’ve been dealing with due to my anxiety and experience a new level of calmness and bliss which I will take into my future 🙏🏾✨ I’m ready to work on my vibrations and connection with the planet and face my mind with no distractions.
