🐕🦺 Hundebegegnungen an der Leine ⠀ ⠀ 😒 Leider ist es bei einigen Hundebesitzern immer noch nicht angekommen, dass nicht jeder Hund mit jedem anderen Hund spielen möchte. Deshalb kommt es immer wieder zu unerwünschten Begegnungen an der Leine.⠀ ⠀ 📌 Wie du dich in solchen Situationen verhalten kannst, kommt natürlich auf deinen Hund an. Hier ein paar Tipps, die ich auch gerne in Coachings weitergebe:⠀ ⠀ 1️⃣ Cool bleiben, atmen nicht vergessen 😉⠀ 2️⃣ Versuche mit deinem Hund auszuweichen und ihn hinter dich zu bringen. Sei der Puffer zwischen ihm und dem anderen Hund.⠀ 3️⃣ Versuche den anderen Hund wegzuschicken, indem du dich groß machst und einen bestimmten Schritt auf ihn zugehst. ⠀ 4️⃣ Du kannst den anderen Hund mit einer Wasserpistole abwehren oder eine Hand voll Leckerchen in seine Richtung werfen (viele Hunde sind dadurch tatsächlich so irritiert, dass ihnen dein Hund erst mal egal ist, und du den Moment nutzen kannst, um die Situation zu verlassen. Pluspunkt: der Besitzer kann sich nicht beschweren, wenn du eine Hand Leckerlies nach seinem Hund wirfst 😉)⠀ 5️⃣ Kommt es trotzdem zum Kontakt lass die Leine fallen oder versuche sie möglichst locker nach oben zu halt, damit dein Hund Handlungsspielraum hat.⠀ ⠀ ✅ Schöner wäre es natürlich, man kommt erst gar nicht in eine solche Situation. Leider gibt es aber einfach ignorante und/oder unwissende Hundehalter. Its #NationalVolunteerWeek and we are saying thank you to our Home Socialisers.⠀ ⠀ Home Socialisation involves taking two 7-week-old puppies for a week and introducing them to all sorts of sounds and experiences so they are strong and ready to move on to Puppy Raising. ⠀ ⠀ We spoke to Aphral Griffin who is a Home Socialisation Volunteer. Being a home socialiser is one of the most rewarding things I have ever done. Spending the week with them and seeing them become so confident and their personalities start to show is an absolute joy.
