#BatePapoBookseEstante 💬 ⠀ Quem me conhece, e acompanha o meu trabalho aqui no ig, sabe que leio de tudo, mas meu gênero preferido é o thriller. Dos autores desse gênero, o meu preferido é o Harlan Coben. ⠀ Quem já leu mais de um livro do autor, acredito que concorda comigo com o título que ele recebeu: “mestre das noites em claro”, e é exatamente isso o que ele faz conosco; nos deixa acordados pela madrugada devorando suas histórias de tirar o fôlego. O que mais gosto nas obras dele é que não importa as teorias criadas, vou errar todas, pois o Coben não trabalha com o óbvio, então, as reviravoltas são incríveis e nos deixa de queixo caído. ⠀ Pela quantidade de livros, O Coben também ocupa o primeiro lugar. Já li todos esses da foto e indico todos, nenhum tem menos de 4 estrelas nas avaliações, porque o cara é realmente muito bom no que faz. Espero poder conhecê-lo e dizer pessoalmente que o admiro muito e que sou fã do trabalho dele. ⠀ Coben é o ÚNICO escritor a ter recebido a trinca de ases da literatura policial americana: o Anthony, o Shamus e o Edgar Allan Poe, todos por livros da série Myron Bolitar (sobre essa série, farei um post só para falar dela). O autor é tão famoso e importante que é até o Stephen King o cita/usa em seu livro “Outsider” (2018). ⠀ Vocês me verão panfletando muito os livros do autor, pois o que é bom é para ser divulgado, não é mesmo? Para quem gosta do gênero e nunca leu Coben, compre qualquer um desses títulos da foto e vocês entenderão o que estou falando, mas para quem é indeciso, deixo minha indicação desses três que são sensacionais: “O inocente”, “A grande ilusão” e “Cilada”. ⠀ Sempre tem aquele autor que a gente ama e tem muitos livros, né? Ever since this pandemic has started, I have been feeling my anxiety creep up. It calms down sometimes, and then sky rockets at other times. I have tried grounding techniques when I feel very overwhelmed, and deep breathing to calm my nerves. But my baseline anxiety has definitely been heightened. So my dear husband bought me this @johannabasford colouring book, and colouring pencils, in the hopes that it would make me more chill. I leave it in an accessible place, and just do a little flower every now and then. I actually find it really helps. It also makes me feel like I have accomplished something; like a goal that is definitely within reach, ie today I will finish the tree! That sense of accomplishment motivates me to do other things in the day. Hola 💜 espero estén muy bien!! 😊 en primer lugar quería agradecerles a todas las personas que me saludaron ayer por mi cumpleaños 😘 de verdad estoy muy feliz por el cariño que me dan! Bueno y lo importante es que vengo con la reseña del primer libro de una de las trilogías que se convirtió en una de mis favoritas 😍 y de la cual surgió uno de mis crush literarios máximos.... El Dios Aarón Warner 🙌 La Sipnosis la pueden encontrar en la segunda imagen ➡️ Antes de darle la opinión sobre este primer libro de la trilogía llamado SHATTER ME, voy a explicar que aunque dije trilogía, está historia es una saga, ya que la autora años después que la terminara público otros libros más siguiendo la historia, pero yo aún no los he leído y nosé si lo haga. Y ya para partir, al iniciar la historia me costó un poco engancharme, pues me confundía la forma de narrar de Juliette, quien es la protagonista, pero después me atrapó completamente el libro y no pude parar de leer . Tengo que admitir que mucho tuvo que ver en esto el personaje de Warner, que lo encontré muy interesante y divertido. Desde el primer momento que apareció en el libro yo dije este tipo me va a gustar y pues inconcientemente así sucedió, si bien era el malo de la historia nosé que pasaba por mi cabeza pero me gustaba 😳 Y que decir de Adam que nosé porque pero desde un inicio no me llamó la atención incluso lo encontré muy aburrido e intenso pero intenso mal 🙄 los momentos de él y Juliette no me gustaban para nada, incluso a veces me los saltaba 🤭 sorry not sorry 🤣 además Juliette tampoco me caía muy bien al principio. Para terminar, las casi últimas 100 páginas del libro fueron lo que más amé y en especial un momento por ahí que definitivamente fue lo mejor! Okey al terminar la historia ya era una necesidad leer el siguiente libro 😱 me dejó con muchas dudas, sin saber lo que podía pasar de ahora en adelante! Calificación: 4,5/5 ⭐ Eso es todo 😊 espero les haya gustado ¿Ya leyeron este libro? O ¿Esperan hacerlo en algún momento? ITT - a period drama which probably isn’t even a period drama. but let’s be real i can’t judge historical accuracy main story: monty (classic teen bi disaster, 1700s edition) is going on his grand tour w/ his sister and best friend and everything goes wrong. as usual. thoughts: this book is super cute and has a fun plot, but it also has its more serious moments. i genuinely enjoyed all the characters. none of them are flawless (except percy. ily. best boy) but i genuinely think they’re all good people. EDIT: i will note that i enjoyed this book but it does have weird undertones at times involving race, and the author is a lil weird, so read cautiously there - that being said i still liked it so i’ll leave this up happy ending?: yes! I am obessed with this palette.The palette itself has Huda’s eyes on top and I really like it.I do love the big mirror inside it. This palette is beautiful. I love the colour story and it really inspires me. The formula of the mattes is incredible but it drives me crazy that the shades change so much on the lids, the shimmers require a bit of layering but they are ok. The multi-reflective ones are tricky but pretty. I love the packaging. Honestly, think it’s worth 67$. I keep it because of the matte pastels because I don’t have them in any other palette . It features: nine mattes, six metallics, one glitter (Nebula) and two sheer multi-reflective shadows (Supermoon and Gold Glitch). All the shades blend easily with brushes but the shimmery ones work best if you use your fingers and you press them on. LASTING POWER With a primer, they last about 8 hours before creasing. RATINGS: Colour: 9/10 Longevity: 9/10 Pigmentation: 10/10 Packaging:  10/10 I would recommend you to try this palette out for yourself!! Eu consegui prever o que aconteceria, mas isso não me impediu de me surpreender com a forma que se desenrolou. Gostei muito da história, ainda mais sendo bem curtinho, consegui ler em menos de um dia, como sempre devorando o livro. Apesar de o livro ter um final fechadinho, queria mais dessa história e dos personagens. E mais uma vez, tenho que parabenizar a editora pela linda diagramação.
